Such an enjoyable journey! Looking forward to further installments of 'The Great European Adventure 2023' to come! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Stay safe and ROCK ON!
I absolutely love to follow your travels! Thanx so much for all your fun videos! When I was on my Viking tour, and we stopped at Kinderdijk and we had the exact same guide! Right now I have Christmas cookies fresh from the oven laying on a lovely dish towel that I bought in the windmill gift shop. Wishing you both a very blessed Christmas and new year. I sure hope I run into both of you someday. ❤
Loved following along on this river cruise. So different from an ocean cruise. The fact that you can walk from one ship to another because of the way they line up at ports, very cool. As always thank you for taking us along. Wishing you both a Merry Christmas ❤❤
We loved visiting Kinderdijk last year on our Viking river cruise. We were there in June so the weather was amazing and didn't experience the wind. We had a demonstration on how to make wooden shoes which was very informative. I definitely would not pass on seeing Kinderdijk.
Growing up my Grand Parents got us all wooden shoes.. We lived on a farm in Quebec, and i loved them, they are so comfortable, and impossible to stub a toe :-) (well almost). Would love to get another pair, but what used to be 12.00 a pair are now upwards of 120+ if you can find them at all.
I wish we could have been there. I’m so happy we got to meet y’all. I wish we could have been there to gotten too Jason and Alicia. We just love their video’s and also you’re’s to.
I would have to say seeing the Netherlands via River cruise would not be my 1st choice. The cruise seems very boring while on ship and food doesn’t look appetizing. I do appreciate Dee and Jay giving me the opportunity to see all the countries and what they have to offer as I will never be able to go to those countries. The sightseeing and tours of the Cathedrals are very interesting 5:10 . I not sure if it’s the time of year but all the rain is very difficult to be able to tour these cities. I am still watching it just would not be a cruise for me.
I've been to Amsterdam a couple times now and I find that the train, which is right by the cruise port, maybe 5-10 minutes walk, is very reasonable and takes you directly to the airport. You can also take a train from the airport to Rotterdam should your cruise be going out of that port
The cruise itself looked interesting. IMO, the shore excursions seemed extremely repetitive. To be expected I guess, given the small geographic area covered, compared to other Europe river cruises.
Thanks for sharing all of your travels. Merry Christmas.
Visited Kinderdijk back in Easter absolutely loved it, brings back memories of a good day
Good morning!

I thought you'd give that shower a 4.75. I was pretty close. Definitely claustrophobic for me. But this rivercruise journey was interesting to see.
I'm so glad you did everything you could do. Just throw them clothes in and go.

Yes, I loved Centraal Station in Amsterdam. I loved Amsterdam too.
Love all your pictures Dee! Have you taken a photography class or do you just have a good eye?
I would love to have some of those shoes👞

Food seems overwhelmingly hit or miss.
Sausage roll not pig in a blanket which is sausage wrapped in bacon.
Whaaaaa? A pig in a blanket in the US is generally a hot dog wrapped in store-bought crescent dough, then baked. No bacon involved. Interesting!!
I’m not too impressed with the food selections, but maybe it’s better in person.
