I use one on bass and can confirm it's awesome, its like a very responsive fuzz. Loved that version of No Quarter dude!

For me, a prime example of why buying a pedal in a guitar store can be challenging-- you usually can't hear it in a mix. Isolated I don't find this inspiring (probably just my limited imagination), but when you had it in the mix at the start, man did it sound great and well worth having.

      Absolutely rambunctious in a mix!

Popular pedal with keys/synth in nz too. I believe the Goodshirt song Sophie is basically a keyboard run into this pedal

The OG NZ Filth Box from Dunedin. My Crowther pedals always remind me of this famous Canadian TV show I watched growing up about three kids who discover a teleport machine that can take them to the planet Trialveron controlled by the alien tyrant, Dunedin. The Prunes and Custard literally sounds like the work of Dunedin.

My old MXR Blue Box was my favourite for getting that “different” sound for inspiration. Had it for years and sold it and regretted it! Love the Artist LP, not seen you play that before unless I’m mistaken.

Very interesting.. I loved it when you were playing lead with the synth LP from the 70's or early 80's.. Love that guitar.. The sound was like a wah and synth that was barely on, and it sounded great.. Not so much to me with the Strat.. It sounded like a cheap fuzz to me.. Strange.. I loved it so much with the LP though.. Maybe it was context.. Great demo though sir.. Outstanding..
Are there any ducking delay pedals that one can buy that you would recommend? Just wondering. Pedal instead of rack I mean.. ?
Thanks brother for enriching my life man.. So glad I'm alive to hear you and others do the music thing on a computer in the hills of southern IN. Who knew this would happen. Not me 30 years ago! 😛

Todd I don't comment often but hearing this pedal as a music producer I have to say it's one of the few sounds where it's all there. Like an optical compressor, crazy tube circuits pedals or Crowther Audio pedals it's there, where the overall tone is exceptional that stands out from all the other gear you feature. I hear these awesome axe FX modelers but they don't have these tones that stand out like a Soldano Tube amp or Mesa. There's a different quality to these items I mentioned that differ from the IR's or other elite gear that isn't a perfect copy of sterility. On the mark but missing something that those pedals I mentioned are outdoing when paired with the right artist and instrument. I hear you're achieving something musical here. Listen in comparison with these mentions here. They stand out from that sterile perfected sound.

Harmonic Generator is also a song by the band the Datsuns. The chorus is just Harmonic Generator, Intermodulator repeated. Absolutely sick song by a kiwi band.
