If it's getting larger but seemingly not moving, then it's headed towards you. Since this one didn't appear to be doing that my guess is you fine folks were just fine. Anyway, here in Utah those types of tornadoes are extremely rare. IIn my 27 years of living here we have never had anything larger than an F2.
Hey Chris, do you have an email address we can use to contact you regarding this video? I'd love to discuss a license to use this if possible! Cheers, Felix
Marley Mcleay.... it was definitely a sight to see that day...i was not really freaked out, that tornado was miles from our farm.. I was more concerned about those in harm's way that day..
He payed too much attnetion to the tornado and his wife had to intercept it by trying to lure him into the basement. Even though the tornado was miles away and headed away from them, she didn't like him being interested in something at all and her instinct was to take the fun away immediately.
Should have used your noodle and listened to your wife Chris. You could see it coming, and large tornados have a habit of planting satellites nearby. Your cats were responding to the infrasound from the tornado.
That's an amazing and unsettling view! That thing was nearly an EF5.
NWS surveyed winds of exactly 200mph
@@tylerswx1243 The closest we've come to EF5 since Moore (officially)...crazy to think it's been all those years.
Damn it Chris! Listen to that woman.
Ps- hope the cats are ok ❤️
This tornado is crazy! You can see it just so well
"Let's get in the basement."
"No, woman, I'ma record this and be famous." 😜
@Chris Woodman, Could i use brief clips from this? I'm making a montage of what happened that day?
Yes, thank you for asking, have a great day..
@@chrischristides thanks as well!
Touched down in Rochelle and finally dissipated up the Marengo/Woodstock area. Traveled a long way.

I loved how you handle the "main stream media". Stay true to what you believe in.
Great home video footage
Why would anyone say that it was not a tornado?
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
How does that make you feel seeing something like that?. Must be terrifying.
