THIS is what a villain is supposed to be. Eloquent, intelligent, and charming in his own twisted way. Voiced by an AMAZING actor, we see a “man” who deserves his own spinoff.
My god I can’t believe I’ve forgotten how much I loved this villain. I don’t blame Zack for getting hooked on his show, the guy OOZES charisma and showmanship.
That is so true, he gives crypt keeper vibes (from tales from the crypt). I never got the impression that Argost was manipulating his audience, his TV show gave him a hobby to talk about his interests to humanity about cryptids (slowly ease them into it) and it was like giving a middle finger to the secret scientists that try to keep the creatures hidden. Argost is a well known and loved celebrity by the masses and even Zak can't help but admire his charisma and interest in the macabre subjects.
I always found very funny and unique how Zak knows Argost is evil and their arch nemesis and still watches his show. Its a very fun dynamic the protagonist is sort of a fanboy of the main villain
Doc and Drew probably forbade Zak from watching it cause they still have traumatic memories from losing colleagues at Artist's maniacal manor. They don't want their kid to be influenced by the guy who literally killed their friends.
A crossover between this show and "Infamous" would be sick. I'm actually considering doing one, once I get enough experience and knowledge. Set in a timeline in which Simon, from S.O.M.A, kills WAU, taking too long to become the A.I. Or rather, long enough for the satelite to be taken by the aliens from "Ecco the Dolphin" and infiltrate among surviving humans and WAU's remaining creations to create Conduits.
It’s a treat coming back to this show as an adult and realizing that Corey was doing something of a Vincent Price impersonation for Argost, at least in that first clip.
1:12 am I the only one who got confused at that as a kid? Zak was all “shush Fisk. Mom and dad will b pissed if they catch us still up” *3 seconds later* “whooooo 🥳”
Could you please do a counter for every time Munya rips his suit off while he transforms. The guy must have a gigantic wardrobe filled with dozens of the same outfits.
I pretty sure that happens in Every Single episode Munya is in. That like 15 episodes. Sorry, iam too lazy to rewatch Saturdays again. Plus they reuse the Transformation animation everytime, that probably would be kinda boring as a video.
@@pdokik9340 I get it, but I wish you posted only one clip of the animation of his transformation (not many people post secret Saturday content anymore) to show how grotesque and unnecessary it is to waste suits. I love that someone is still posting Secret Saturdays content
Sorry, I only have remember tuning in half way on some episodes. Did..did he announce a large number of his plans on national television? What delightfully arrogant showmanship.
I think they implay that Argost for the TV show just make it look like he talking about old myths and cryptids. Without showing them for real. So only Zak watching would know the super villain side.
@@pdokik9340 Oh. I get that most people have no clue. But he knows the kid is a fan of his show. So he knows that he is advertising to the main pain in his undead rear end.
We need full episodes of Weird world!
His VA is great
They brought him back for Omniverse
Kudos To Corey Burton.

''I have a weakness for the Classic Monsters Cliches'' - Argost (S2E2)
He is nothing if not a ham.
For a villian; Argost's show isn't bad. Kinda wishing we had full episodes focusing on his Weird World show.
It also adds a lot of character to the villian by letting us see what he is like outside of conflicts with the heroes.
The Crypt-Keeper as a super villain.
Good, I’m not the only one that saw it.
I think everyone who know about both shows thinks the same
I glad people remembered that show
The cryptkeeper isn't a villain already?

It’s like if cobra commander was played by Tim curry. Phenomenal.
I don't know why they didn't let Zak watch this, to be real, if they did they might have had a few inside tips on dealing with this immaculate lunatic
But he could also use the show to send them on a wild goose chase.

More like an East German/DDR National People’s Army/NVA Parade Uniform for a GeneralMajor

not going to lied, i actually would watch this if it was a real show, not surprise why zak love this
Weird world would perfect to watch between August and October
No wonder why Zak have hundreds of these on his Favorites' List
You can tell the VA had an absolute blast
I never really actively watched Secret Saturdays as a kid, but I can remember this guy's voice and design because it's just so good.
I always thought he was saying "BEYOND THE NEW" instead of bienvenue.
I thought the same when I was younger.
Until I saw (years later) that he was speaking French.
As if the crypt keeper comparison wasn’t obvious enough 😂
If Argost goes down, his show goes with him.
Who knew Argost was actually a bastard Yeti who caused trouble across the world for years.?
It was a nice twist, all these much weirder & crazier cryptids and he turns out to be one of the classics.
Crazier that he even managed to outsmart everyone for so long, even getting half of Kur's powers.
I figured the guy was a cryptid or some kind of extraterrestrial he knew a little too much about Kur
Honestly who would have known that someone who look like spooky villain would be a yeti

Soo, basically he was a misunderstood man, simply seeking to share knowledge and wonders with the world.
I personally wouldn't use the word ''man''.
Somebody clearly haven't seen hte last few episodes of Saturdays..
I can only imagine a conversation between V.V. Argost and Lord Frieza.
Greetings and bien venue!
God damn, Argost was classy.
RW:Argost WEIRD WORLD tb series could always remind me of LOST TAPES when it comes to Cryptids
He feels like a cryptkeeper, el vira, addams family, Vincent Price type character
RW:wow same guy that does the HAUNTED MANSION voice over
Really?
I remember this guy being on Cartoon Network advertising
Not gonna lie, I'd pay for an actual Weird World show talking about cryptozoology.
I dont care if it is misinformation about cryptids and propaganda for argost's eventual reign, i would watch the shit out of it.
I pretty sure most of his Cryptids facts would be real in the show, just because he sincerely likes exploring cryptids biology or something.
Corey Burton
Gives me weird Emperor Zombie vibes. I get the feeling this show was the one that replaced Screw-on Head
Could you do every time he says his catchphrase?
Argost says ''Greetings and Bienvenue'' like 3 times per every episode he appears in, there no way iam ever making that.
0:44 if Munya is the camera operator then who operated the camera in every other episode?

I personally would headcanon it as: Secret Camera Cryptid that we never got to see.

I'm going to say duck taped to a skeleton.
