Thats what the worls needs, people just helping each other out.
Martin has the best friends. The gift of time is a real treasure.
My favorite episode yet. It was so uplifting to watch all their family and friends come together to build them a home. That's what the world needs to get back to. That's real love.
If George did not point out Rebbeca's Dad,I would think he is Martin's Dad without a doubt, the bond they have the chemistry!, its like a Father and Son relationship its so good to watch I was touched!.
Crunch needs his own TV show.
How brave, courageous, and visionary everyone is. Congratulations on a very successful building debt free. What an effort on everyone's part. I am so proud of you all and thank you George for showing us what the human element is all about. Thank you beautiful people!!!!
That is so sweet Mayra.
They're not debt free, they just couldn't borrow any more than that
That is certainly a house made from love and those friends were a god send. It’s a stunning home that they should be so proud of. I’m delighted for them
Using a broom to guide a steel beam, too funny. Have to appreciate the building/home inspector for safety. Safety 1st! Ticking off the planning commission, not a good thing. Improvising electrical...Yikes! LOL they moved in all right...into a building site just to prove they could be in by Christmas...that being said, within 2 months it looks beyond fantastic. Are double vanities in an owner on suit bathroom something uncommon in the UK? What a great group of "mates"...all for a pint of beer.
A couple of his mates at the beginning looked like they needed a few bowls of porridge put down them ,But what a great bunch of friends he had. Reminded me of the Amish the way everybody got to gether to help them ,
Fantastic stuff, what good friends they have, shows you that they must be lovely people to have friends like that. So great to see them getting this done.
Excuse my ignorance, but why didn't the roofers put tarps up to keep the rain from getting in -- or are there no tarps big enough ?
They couldn’t they had to go get there dole money Can’t miss that
Wow! That steel lift was tense viewing. They wouldn't be allowed to make TV like that anymore. Awesome!
Ambitious project on a shoestring budget. Bravo!
This is the best one i've seen they are the best honest people who are down to earth who did not have 10s of thousand to throw at their build and made an awesome home with help for truely great friend they shold give themself a good patt on their backs
Your job and vision are remarkable!!!😁😁😁😘🤗🤗🤗
Really impressive how he accomplished what he did. Would’ve been a bit more enjoyable if you thought he actually loved his girlfriend, but I’m not so sure.
Take a look at 44:29. Right after he says he likes what he sees and he's content, he looks at Rebecca. ❤
THEY MADE IT, BEAUTIFUL HOUSE
Wow. We all need friends like that!
What an accomplishment!!!!
tHIS IS AN EXERCISE IN HOW NOT TO DO IT. They were lucky noone was seriously hurt or even killed.
Crunch is a Darling so strong yet so soft hearted...love him!
People used to be more self sufficient. Will have to be re-ignited all over small, dwindling population of humans left.
Amazing to have friends on hand. But tbh I couldnt use friends on a project which I couldnt afford ! Lucky them and best wishes.
I've been hating on the televisions and computer monitors I've been seeing in the after version... I mean, why? I didn't think to question from when this show was originally...
This was a good illustration of what friends can achieve together but it is a pity that the roofers were given their free beers before they started. The ripped eaves course and the shoddy verges and ridges will take a lot of ignoring down the line.
Finally someone made it for christmas!
I swear these banks are a bunch of hardasses.
Everyone wants to be in before Christmas.
Unfortunately this couple also ☹️
Alamgir baig, I know. I was thinking the same thing. they're actually probably the first couple to meet that deadline.
Well, the usual seems to be #1. under-funded ... #2. ridiculously short time scales ... #3. I'll project manage it myself ... oh, & don't forget #4. getting pregnant halfway through the project.
Don't these people ever watch previous videos?? smh :-(
Well said keepsimple
Yes Charles I forget about half way pregnancy.
Hahaha
@@charlesroberts2166 We video viewers probably have watched more of these renovation videos than the ignorant people who take it on. They're always so naïve.
£100,000 tells you how very old this episode is
Smoking in pubs too
@@Mpayne1472 and the tv
Good work 🙏
Many faiths came up in the early to mid 1880’s. Interesting research. One came to the conclusion of the Lord’s soon return and the seventh day sabbath rest of the fourth commandment KJV and begun in Genesis 2:2&3. Also research sun day observance tradition. It’s eye opening! Constantine was a sun worshipper!
Да уж! Церкви не нужны стали. Новые западные ценности! Хорошо ,что еще ЛГБТ клуб из нее не сделали
I am happily surprised they did it all on time, for so little and it came out so well. This may be my favorite episode. I felt for these two and wanted good things for them. Also, to see so many people helping just out of the kindness of their heart ( apparently including the bank...lol) made it all the better.
Much love to them both.
Great video! You don't often see a private home with a cross on top of it. I, definitely, would have kept the cross but taken it off the roof and put it in the yard, somewhere. Hallelujah!
George Martin is an extraordinarily good- looking guy. Or is it just me?
Good, hands on lad(s)! Wonder how ther r now..
So many Rebecca's on this show...
don't believe they did all that for $39k. Not possible even with free labour.
No way they did this without YOUR help!
❤️
lovely but not practical at all.
The last verse contemporaneously confess because daniel externally answer onto a bizarre mine. nebulous, snotty boy
They all needed one day to water proof the building? Why not put felt over the beams!
Noticed they used nails instead of screws on some wall sheets?
Crazy 😅
Hevers night out.
