Thanks James, I've be cooped up in a Cancer ward for a couple weeks but just had my son bring in my Telly. Love the song and the embellishments. Great one to practice with! Keep it up!
Edmunds’s version is great, maybe even definitive. That said, I quite like Elvis’s version, too-maybe James Burton on guitar? You do your usual excellent job parsing it here.
Love the James Burton era Elvis stuff. Thanks for the great arrangement!
Just wanted to say Rock on, Charlie...miss ya, man :-(
That's some kicking pickin right there ! Thank you

I like the Dead version, and I lived in Charlotte, thanks for the awesome arrangement
I remember a couple versions where Phil sits back the first 3/4 of the song and then explodes and drops huge bombs at the end. LOVE Phil.
My fav version as well... more cowbell!
Thank you so much for this! I have been trying to figure this out and love Elvis’s version. Great lesson

"Elvis is NOT dead, he just went home!" I may have to finally get an electric guitar. I know, been saying that for years.
Awesome rhythm! Well done 👍
Great explanations and demos as always. However my 73 year old short fingers will not do that part at the end. Kudos meister!
Excellent t shirt - where did you get it?
I don’t even remember, to be honest.
