We are in our Living Jesus series at Imprint Church in Woodinville to highlight the fact that Jesus is alive! We've been studying the Gospel of John and the I AM statements of Jesus. We've seen Jesus say, "I am the bread of life." "I am the light of the world" "I am the door of the sheep." We carry on with our sheep/shepherding imagery this week in John 10.
Jesus as the good shepherd died for us. Jesus was willing to lay down his life for us, so that we might have life, life with the Father and have life for eternity. The good shepherd, who Jesus is, is willing to die for the sheep, so that the sheep can live.
