I am tearing down while watching this video, because I just got a forgotten childhood memory of me and my cousins picking and opening up the most beautiful bean pods at my grandmother's farm, high up in the Greek mountains... I miss the village and the most amazing grandma 😭
(But thank you for reminding me)
❤️
There is nothing as satisfying as closing the loop of growing by harvesting the seed. Happy Fall!
I've never seen beans like those! Beautiful! You've had such an amazing veggie harvest this season. Such a great reward for all your hard work.
The runner beans are amazing! Love your channel and all that you do. I love how you especially love on your family and community.
-"It's the final been pod." Nicole sings this new fab version of the song "It's the final countdown" by Europe, a Swedish rock band, in 1990 in this video. So happy to hear you sing again, Nicole from Flower Hill Farm!
I love the sound of you shucking the scarlet runner beans 🥰

I'm in 🇨🇦 so this is not an entry just glad you are feeling better and that things are slowing down for you to catch your breath. This winter you can have fun with the nursery, ordering and organizing and dreaming of the 2024 season. EDIT *2023 OMG time means nothing anymore 🤦🏻♀️

Wish you every successs in all your endeavours, take care. Noel new zealand 10 inches of snow right now and still falling.
So shiny, hard and smooth…not to mention raspberry pink leopard!!!
I just found your delightful channel short time ago & have been trying to catch up on all videos. I love your personality it comes through & it’s nice meeting your family too! Your dried beans are beautiful, if I lived close I would be shopping your fresh flowers. Just a little about me I’m 72 been married, 53 years to same man HA!HA! I have had to let my flower beds get smaller every year & it breaks my heart, I broke my back, I was lucky to be able to put it back together, will the Dr. did, no damage to spinal cord & many months in back braces I learned to walk again but it totaled my beautiful new 3 month old special order car. I was run off the road by someone that just kept going no one got the tag number. Your beans reminded me of a story, when I was around 11 my mama told me to freeze some fresh beans we got at a farmers we been shelling all afternoon 2 bushels she was tired & went bed early I took over only one problem she didn’t tell me to look for worms will sometime that fall Sunday dinner for pastor & I got to help cook my beans, heard how great they were till later at supper & the worms were practicing floating the good news none of the guest ever knew. I guess they were good because the extra proteins a little girl left in. I know this is long here’s hoping you enjoy 1 of my funny memories. Thanks
Always happy to see you in a new video. That I would also look at the old videos. I have learned a lot from you. Thanks for sharing
Hi Flower Friend! It's so exciting to see all of your progress since your channel started. Great job Nicole! Thanks for the light-hearted and encouraging 'you can do anything you set your mind to' attitude. Also, those scarlet runner beans are LOVEY! Have a great day.

Glad the frost has helped you slow down a bit.
Always fun to see what you’re up to. This time it amounts to a hill of beans 😂. Can’t wait to get my calendar!
I haven’t seen scarlet runners in more than 35 years…I had forgotten how beautiful they are!
It's never occurred to me that you can grow dried beans lol. Thank you for the opportunity!
Love, love, love the color of those beans!!!
Love your channel. You have the best personality and keep me laughing.
I also grew scarlet beans and they are beautiful. I saved some to plant in the spring. The hummingbirds love them too.
Hi Nicole, these sound like black jelly bean's you are dropping in that white dish. As my dad would have put it, "It's a Thang of Beauty!" There's no icon in my text referring to the Scarlet(purple) runner beans. So glad of your harvest. The weather is getting colder and I can now picture you in your new space germinating seeds in February, staying inside with all your new surroundings and oh thee Idea's in that mind of your's, so talented. Wishing you well...get your rest too. 😊 🍃🍂🍂🍁🍁🦃☃️🌱💐🎡🎠

Your videos are aways fun to watch ,those beans are beautiful they don't look real
Wow... you have been busy. Wished that I had your energy. Those Scarlett Runner beans are big and gorgeous..
Gorgeous beans, Nicole. Butternut squash are a nice size. They’ll last you all winter. Whenever I cook them I wash the seeds and roast them with a tiny bit of salt. I love the seeds as much as the squash and they’re very nutritious. 😊💖🦋🕊
Thank you for a fun giveaway and congrats on getting 7,000,000 views! You deserve all the best!
Those are beautiful beans. This video was a great break from cleaning out my summer beds to prep for garlic.
I've loved watching you grow scarlet runner beans. I'd be honored to grow some of your seeds here in Texas!
Hi Nicole! I grow TONS of sage for two reasons: I love sage tea. Boil up a few leaves in water and add a little honey. Spicy honey is even better. It doesn't taste like sage, flavor is very mellow. The second reason is it helps deter pests, especially around anything in the rose family. It even helps with fungal issues like mildew and black spot. Not sure why it works, but I now plant a culinary sage near every rose bush. Third reason - when culinary sage flowers it is GORGEOUS! I dip the cut flowers in boiling water and the flowers last a week in the vase. I love watching your channel and I'm so happy for you that you bought the nursery. Best wishes, Sheila at Summer Nights Farm.
I want an entire wall of Scarlett runner beans!!!!! So beautiful! I hope all is going well with the nursery progress. Looking forward to the next update video.
The blooper startled me lol! Love that you have such a fun humor. What a beautiful day. TY
The beans are beautiful. Love your channel and thanks for sharing with us.
Those beans are so beautiful!!!
I'd love to try those beans! Glad you're able to rest a little bit more now that the season is coming to an end!
Those are simply stunning! The beans I mean…lol. I’d love to try them in my garden. I’m in Florida so they should do well here. The hurricane tore apart my garden, so I’m back to the beginning with everything. Lots of emotions here and tons of cleanup, but watching your videos has really helped soothe my soul. Thank you! ❤️🥰💐
Bless you and your neighbors in storm ravaged FLA. My heart goes out to you! ♥️
@@jcking6785 thank you! It’s been an emotional roller coaster. I can replant my garden. Just so thankful our family survived and our home was spared. We are out near the Myakka River State park, where it flooded. Thankfully, it did not affect us. ❤️
@@janetzveare7459 Oh my! Although I have never been there, I know where that is! My nephew lives in Sarasota and was spared any damage but also dealing with major cleanup. I can’t begin to imagine what your part of the world is going through. The photos are so heartbreaking 💔 I’m in Lexington, KY and we didn’t get so much as a drop of rain from Ian and we haven’t had rain for weeks now. I hope Nicole picks you to receive those beautiful beans and they will help you and your garden to heal. ♥️
@@jcking6785 Oh my! You are just the sweetest person. It’s okay if I don’t get the beans! Just knowing people care is what matters. It’s been rough as a flower farmer down here. Heat, humidity, bugs, slugs, deer etc. I’m 59 and loving being a farmer, but it takes its toll after something like this. Tears have been shed for sure, but it’s okay.
The beans are gorgeous! Love your channel and everything about Flower Hill Farm and the new nursery. I am so happy for you and your success is hard earned and well deserved. Wouldn’t mind winning some seeds either 😊
Wow Nicole, what cool beans(ha ha) my 4 year old grandson would love to watch the beans grow. He/ Kasen loves to help me water the garden. Need to start these kids young so they see how plants grow and produce. Have a great day
Great bean harvest!!! Love your inspiration to grow!
Those beans are gorgeous! I've never grown any beans but green beans. These will definitely be on my seed buying list. I enjoy watching your channel, and then trying to grow some of the flowers myself. Thanks for the encouragement! Keep growing!

Those beans are the prettiest beans I’ve ever seen. I might have to grow the beans just for the beauty of the bean.
I love your channel, especially your sense of humor and your loving relationship with your family.
Your videos never disappoint!! I haven't grown scarlet runner beans before, but wow the seeds are beautiful!
Gorgeous beans! I’ve never grown them in my zone 6b garden so I’d love to give them a try. Thanks for your terrific videos and for sharing your goodies with us.
The beans really are a gorgeous color
Those beans are beautiful!! Amazing color. Can't wait to try them in the garden next year.
Scarlet runners are the best! Much love!
Culinary sage makes wonderful winter tea. Just muddle it in the bottom of a mug, as you would for a mojito, pour hot water over it and let it steep for 4 minutes. Great for lung support and overall tonic.
Love those runner beans! They are so pretty and hope you feel better;)
Beautiful bean harvest.
Beautiful seeds. Too pretty to eat.
Oh, those are beautiful beans.
Great harvest! Those beans look absolutely beautiful! Those are on my list to try them out.
They look like a halloween bean. Would love to have one. So happy you are feeling better. Can't wait to see update on Nursery.
I am excited to see you are growing scarlet runner beans in zone 4…which is my zone. They are beautiful beans. I watch Celebrating Appalachia and she grew them…a first time knowing about them for me! How fun!
Those beans are gorgeous!!
Hey sweet lady! Always love to watch all your videos. You always make me smile and you are such an inspiration to follow. I had never heard of those type of beans, they are beautiful! It would be so much fun to grow some!
How are your sweet Grand parents? I know your family is so proud of you and your accomplishments. Keep growing and harvesting. Thank you for taking us in your journey! Oh, Im sure “Brad Pitt” is proud of you too! 😉 I love your hat!!!
I love scarlet running beans. I have seeds from plants my great grandmother grew that she then gave to my grandma. She in turn gave me some and I have been growing them for about 30 years. Heirloom plant in my family.
Beautiful beans, thanks for all you do from Georgia.
🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️ I’d be excited to try these beans 🌱
