Nice game with fantastic players. Never have found lobs to work better than 20% of the time, but during these games, I think it hit over 50% success rate. Great job, by all. There were some nice third and fifth shot drops. The ball was reset many times. Players were all lights out at the NVZ. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for filming through the fence and posting. You do have a good voice for commentating. It is sad, however, that apparently so little attention was given to these fine senior athletes or were there many spectators that we could not see? Also, who are the players given that this was a US Open Gold Medal game? Thanks!
@@paulogden7417 i don’t have time for tournaments, can’t sit around 3-4 hours in between matches. However I don’t believe i put anyone down. I simply stated my observation and I stand by it. That level of play for a gold medal match was 3.5

The lobs were great strategy in this case since both parties covered the kitchen well and both parties drove and returned the ball pretty well.

The lob is a good strategy against older folks since they can’t cover as much ground. I’m 72 so I can say that.

Some tournaments categories just have age requirements without the ratings. Not enough players in that age category to have all the ratings in.
Great play, no attitudes which is nice to see and their skill level is at least 4.0 is my guess?
Not impressed at level of play. I play 65+ and believe we play at a much higher level than shown here

@donw5485 You should play in the tournament then. These players are excellent. It all looks slower than it really is on video.
