It's 100% Disney's fault :/ it's always a shame they just put out concept art for lego so then the lego sets lack a bit of quality.
They should have delayed Mando season three to make it perfect!

This set would have been much better with the inclusion of the Grevious-like droid and Grogu's pram
This set didn’t feel compute without that grievous like Character that appears in the first half of season 3
@@Mr.Feather130watched another review of this from a while ago, and the guy mentioned they make the sets months before the show actually comes out or design them I guess, and they didn’t know about that character at all
Knowing lego that would be another £20 for the set so I’m happy with how it is

It’s nice that you’re praising this set for what it is and it really does look like an almost perfect and complete set. I personally love the overall design for the Spider tank (even though I think he looks more like a Crab), especially the legs, the new Dark Sabre is pretty good and the Bo-Katan minifig is beautiful. I preordered this way back in April and I’m looking forward to getting it when it comes out on August 1st.
i think the darksaber could be improved a lot with just white printing around the edges, but idk maybe that would be too hard to implement
lego does similar with ninjago its within there capabilities honestly i like the simplistic look of the current one tho
I really love the spider build. I think it is so detailed and amazing. That being said, if they had delayed the set to include the things that they didn't know from the promotional art, it would have been even better!
That ending was amazing. I loved how you just had it charging the figures. I have watched it like 4 times

As much as they missed on the set, they are improving with the helmet and dark saber.
You are uploading like crazy lately I love it.
One thing that Lego consistently gets right is the rubberized suspension on their vehicles and animal-inspired builds.
I mean you can easily modify it to look more rusted.. the only real drawback from this set is the missing droid figure, however that was likely not part of their source material. Figs are flawless, darksaber deserved a custom mould with printing, and would justify the price. Overall 9/10
Easy and simple fix would be if Lego released Grievous like droid... as polybag.
I'm not a Lego Star Wars fan, and I haven't bought a set from this theme since the K-2SO buildable figure, yet I love how this thing looks. The way it can bounce on a surface (thanks to the rubber pieces) to give it the appearance of rapidly approaching something is so fun to me and I love it.
I genuinely might by this, even if I've seen nothing from Star Wars since The Force Awakens.
The stud shooters are one of the coolest parts of the set
We didn’t get the brown in this set but we got it on the bottom of the n1 starfighter
I absolutely love the design language the source material and this set follows, Star Wars already has an incredible design language but I'd love to see more of this type of thing in future Star Wars media.

Wow, that is a cool set. Definitely thinking of buying 2 of them. Because that tank looks very similar to the Battle. Spider tank in the old anime ghost in the shell so I will be getting a second one so that I can have that same tank.
To me this set has lost all it's appeal, after watching the actual episode and seeing that the set is lacking the cyborg and the cage for din I don't really see a reason to pick this up. Plus the fact that I wasn't very impressed with Mando season 3 makes this set lose appeal. But hey the Bo katan figure is nice I guess? I'll be skipping this one unless it's on a large sale.
Even with the stuff it lacks it’s still a good set for adults and kids. I don’t know a lot of sets that do that thank you Lego
Absolutely love all of the movement you get with this build! Upset the head doesn’t have any but that can easily be fixed!
Would be cool if they made almost like an add on 25$ set that includes all the things you were talking about. Pram, rotisserie, and maybe like a wall, scenery type background build. Something that would give the vibes of the 25$ tusken raider mando set a few years back that included half a tent and the crossbow build.
I don’t think the bio-droid figure would be too hard to make out of some spare parts lying around tbh. Same with Grogus pram. Solid set
The bo katan figure really does look like a custom and thats really really good.
I think the grey is alright but I do think they should’ve mixed in some reddish brown and dark orange pieces as well as some rust printing on the grey parts to make it look rusty but it’s a great build. I am just gonna get it for the figures though
With the Grievous-like droid absent, this would be so good opportunity for a polybag with that figure and the rotisserie side build, like the Dr Strange or Shang Chi polybags.
i think this set is really amazing. especially one on the cheaper side. i still don't have the updated dyn and im so excited to get the new bo-katan. her design is just phenomenal!
I have a lot of qualms with recent LEGO Star Wars and agree with Ryan most of the time but I don’t think the darksaber needed a unique hilt. It would have been nice but the classic doesn’t bother me at all. I think this new blade is all it needed. Printing may have helped but I’m satisfied
it wold be nice to see a addon pack with the pram, rotisserie and greneral grevious thing only downside would be a doubleup of the mando and baby yoda
I’ve seen people saying it’s not worth $50, but I don’t see it. Getting Grogu and Mando with the DarkSaber in a cheap.
(Obviously you can get both minifigures in much cheaper sets, but this is the cheapest set with Mando and the new DarkSaber) plus the highlight being the new Bo Katan is insane. The spider tank build is amazing! Love how it bounces. The only negative is not including the general grievous droid that pilots the droid. Other than that, $50 is perfect!
I bought the mandalorian fang fighter and tie interceptor and got 2 dark savers as extra pieces. Which is awesome!
As a non mandalorian fan, I really like the design of this and am going to get it

LEGO have completely nailed the look of the Mandalorians, gone with the extra thick visors and the new dawn of the nicely clean and thin visors. Especially with the female Mandalorian visor looks solid. I’ll probably grab a couple of these as cis crab tanks.
The spider tank might not have its cyborg pilot, but that cockpit is still big enough to fit Din Djarin or Bo-Katan. You don’t even need to take off their helmets or Jetpacks. Just plop them in and even the canon will close!

It eerily feels like they had plans to include the droid guy but budget cuts made them cancel it. We're getting mando and grogu so often that getting bo katan and just one other figure would've made it a balanced set. Along with the interior being open, maybe the budget didn't allow them to make a new figure/mold for the droid which is really unfortnunate.

This is a very interesting set but it does suck there’s no droid present to take over the interior of the tank. I heard the designers did not know the droid was going to be present in this scene, not sure how, but it’s a nice set.
Well they probably only received a few pieces of concept art, and maybe the droid guy wasn’t in any of the pictures.
Is this or the Mandalorian Starfighter (75316) that also came with Bo-Katan more worth it? While I do want the newer looking Bo-Katan, I'm kind of on the fence about getting updated Mando and Grogu since I already have older Mando and Grogu from the N1 set. What I really want is Bo-Katan's ship but with the newer Bo-Katan for decoration since I won't be playing with the spider.
With the TIE Interceptor I had a second Darksaber in my extra pieces.

I feel like Lego tried to delay the set (because Mando season 3 came out in March and the set releases in august), but they failed to notice all the missing parts and features. Or it might be because they had already revealed the set in march, which I find really stupid, because why would you reveal a set that will be released 5 months later.
This video is changing my mind. At first it was a pass but after seeing it built it looks way better than I originally thought. And I mean, that Bo-Katan! Perhaps I’ll buy this one after all.

Personaly I would buy the republic fighter tank because it has exklusiv minifigs since bobas slave one doesn't have any
Definitely a day 1 buy for me, at least half for Bo Katan, but the build is awesome too! I didn't expect that range of movement!

Honestly I kind of hope that Lego adds the cyborg’s little area that it uses to drain blood and the rotisserie maybe make it a separate set or if they did a remake of this one
I use imperial translator droid instead of the grievous like cyborg cause it head look similar

After watching this, I like the set a lot more now. I completely understand the points Ryan was making but even so, it's still pretty cool.
Even though it doesn’t have the cyborg it’s great that you can still put in a figure as a pilot and close it up.

I definitely didn’t want this one but you’ve low key convinced me on the Bo Katan figure
Actually surprised it got a 9/10. There were a lot more interesting season 3 episodes which Lego could have recreated (like Mandos vs Imperial remnant). Also this set release date was way too late after the show. Still the Bo Katan is amazing so buying separately makes sense.
Mid. Minifigures are great though especially Bo Katan.

This is the type of set that I would have bought a few years back, but nowadays will totally wait for it to either go on heavy discount, or just Bricklink the Bo Katan figure (or wait to see if she appears in another set before this one retires).
This is the pinnacle of figure design when it comes to Bo katon and Din Djarin.
So why do they change up minifig designs like the mando helmet and the entire Bo Katan figure, but miss the mark with other figure designs?

I think this set is a wonderful example of how awesome a brick-built Bionicle line could be, but as a star wars set this feels like you're only paying for minifigs, and both these figures will probably wind up in better sets in a few years, I may grab this if its on super sale in a year.
