Nice demonstration for 1ex in blue T16. Certainly viable in 3.0, wander investment scales godly so it's only a room for improvement. I am not sure in what rarity tier is Piscator, but i expect this wand to be at the Void Battery price level in the starter weeks.
Unfortunately, especially the jewelry used quite a bit more expensive than suggested in the budget version of the guide. A similar amulet costs at least about 20c, and the two rings used are also pretty expensive, bringing the total budget over 1ex (but not too far, so this build is still pretty amazing for its cost) Also, Essence of Hysteria gloves will set you back at least 30c, and that's without resists most likely...

I checked you gear. If you snatched some of this pieces for cheap with Woops on poe.trade, it doesn't mean your gear is actually cheap on the Market on average. Pretty sure you can equip high-end build with many times less budget required for it if you watch for woops all day long. For example, this Essence crafted gloves ar pretty crazy just as belt and some other pieces of gear. You could exceed in one thing as well - Jewels. You got multiple spots for 2 point investment jewel slot which is no brainer basically. Jewels can provide very decent stats like life + resistances, life + damage, sometimes both and often for pretty cheap. Also pretty sure 4k Life is just not enough for such maps - you would get oneshotted here and there and I think it's pretty interesting how you didn't in that particular video.
i tried this build and died constantly with better gear... i did ancestral warcheif and i can breeze through t14 maps with no issue with the same budget. it was just a much slower build

Grokfyr kinetic blast hasnt been nerfed. It's just an adjustment against the biggest targets of the game, so you cant overlap all of your aoe in a big target, like kitava, unless you hit them next to a wall. It is exactly the same than before. Edit: and anyway you will use barrage for single target

what are you thoughts about immolate support for wander type builds. it adds a crap ton of flat fire damage. essentially possibly the same build but geared towards fire more than lightning?
If you use Herald of Ashe it guarantees burning enemies if you manage to kill one. I tried it scaling elemental damage mostly and it worked pretty well for me. I would like to see what you can pull off though.

i dont know why i didnt realize this. the GMP threw me off - not used to wander! so last question - is this unique shield your using required? why did you chose that one? if im making a swap to try wands out now in merciless act3 what kind of shield should i look for? spirit shield with some spell dmg? or a super defensive shield?

Aki Evans probably u arent shattering enemy, so herald of ice doesnt proc the curse. You can do improve your cold dmg a bit, so its enough to make enemy shatter on crits and also pick up a diamond flask so it will be easier to crit and shatter the enemy on kill (again if you have enough cold dmg) normally while leveling and low tier maps you shouldnt need more cold dmg apart of herald of ice provides, but at some point you going to need aome flat cold dmg in rings, amulet or gloves to keep up the shatter
no he bought a corrupted 6L on poe.trade, cause corrupted items are way cheaper because you cant change anythihng then anymore, fe colours, so buy the colours you need directly on the chest

id say its better then pathfinder from experience at least for starting, later when u get the gear u can respec into pathfinder since the more gear u have the more pathfinder will be better

The build is a theory craft for 3.0 when life will have much more increased numbers on gear. Obviously in the current meta you're just better off going CI.
plus it's a budget build, most people can invest a little bit more and reach 5K life and he is only lvl88 add these to the list combined with 3.0 buffs u can come close to 6k life.
Not exactly, in chest that number is going to be 154 + 55 strenght (22.5 life), and str can be applied to any other piece of armour, so yeah, if you invest enough on this build i would say u will be able to hit around 6.5-7k hp with pretty good gear. Plus you have flasks OPness from pathfinder with extra effect passives nodes around ranger that make your survibability even better. Ofc, you can get oneshoted at anytime, but there are mechanics in this game that we are suppoused to avoid, we can't pretend to facetank the whole content (like we do now with ES), and personally I don't like the idea that everybody can facetank anything in the game with the right gear, the first idea of this game was that anything, even if you are lvl 100 and you do a t5 map with the right rolls, you can get shut down and that should never ever change, imo. Peace.

isn't thunderfist better if you can fit in resist else where? It boost your barrage as well
In your setup, you have minion life and decoy totem, do they both work together? I thought minion gems and totem gems don't work together.
pls rightclick on the gems you dont want to lvl up ( cwdt ) they will disappear and you can only see them if you open your inventory / profile

Deadeye wont have the stupid movement speed of pathfinder with all that flask effect

GMP on barrage adds the extra projectiles you get but without the spread

You will get +125 life total max with new mods, 4.5k still gets insta 1 shotted, even 5k is low
