- Today I take a look at a Axion 650 on 42's, tour of the Massey cab, shifting the big bucket and food waste and shifting barley
My name is Crawford and I’m a farmer.
Being a farmer is more than a job; it’s a way of life. The good days can involve bringing new life onto the farm or sunny days outdoors whilst on others it's dealing with machinery breakdowns and on the worst days, sometimes animal deaths.
Farming can be isolating at times - away from the busy streets and city life - so this platform brings you closer to the inner workings showing the highs and lows and everything in between.
I hope to bring some context to how the food ends up on your plate, from your Sunday roasts to morning porridge and even the tulips on your kitchen table. Hopefully a bit of agricultural education along the way.
This video captures the latest goings on including crop management and our efforts to increase sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint.

Absolutely love the Massey Ferguson! We have a 2020 7719S and it is a great tractor to have and much cheaper than many...

We have a 2016 7718 and it’s a monster. Absolutely love it. So nice to drive
I think someone sounded a bit prejudiced against the Massey before he even got in it? Well everyone has their preference, there all good theses days and they all have problems, fingers crossed you pick the one that's right for your farm.
Why you say that?
The Massy looks good but I think it would to towards the bottom of the list for me, it’s just not as refined as some of the others, also they hold a poor second hand value looking on line, I think the Case will be very much like the New Holland, but you all ready know how good the Blue dealer is, down to the best deal I think 🤔

Good tractors the Massey cut my teeth on them 35 s they have come a long way now bloody big now time is money I suppose ,old jimmy WA
I like my Claas, had couple. I like the 5 year warranty and rickerby have always been good to us. I looked at others and was close to trying something different but I decided to stick with the dealer that's always been good to us on deals and support.

Great video Crawford as always wouldn’t be gone on them Massey’s my neighbor is big potato man changed the whole fleet to Massey endless trouble with electric problems but the backup service is good

@@CrawfordsFarm1 all new holland for years he had a t8 and 7 t7 the Massey’s are up for replacement late next year he going back to new holland

Massy looks a nice machine. Food waste one of my pet hates i see a lot with working in a pub what people leave .......and to think people going hungry

If you have a jcb dealer near you, try jcb fastrac 4220 as they are some serious bit of kit brilliant on-road and really good doing fieldwork and they have an amazing turning circle. we have a 4220 as our main tractor and she does everything and touch wood she has not let us down.

Those sausage rolls look yummy and I am hungry now I personally think the Massey looks nice from the outside with great styling however after seeing the cab tour I am not so sure about the inside it came over on camera a bit cheap looking with poor quality plastic trim the control's also appeared awkward and dated which I was disappointed about as I have always held Massey Ferguson in high regard.
Think the likes of the 8s is a complete change
if your going keep tractor for 10 years a FENDT THEY KEEP THE VALUE

Back end/gear box/front suspension all braw. Not the biggest fan of the 6 post cab and cab suspension but being picky as other demos all had upgraded cab suspension which Massey offer i think. Looks mint 🏎

I had 10 plate 155 puma for 10 years until somebody put kerosene in the tank 😭🚜it was a very good tractor on the plough for wheel grip
Never felt Massey build quality seems as good. Had a sit in a new 8S the other day and it was very plasticky. I am an ex Deere sales person so guess I am used to their build spec. That said, It has to come down to dealer support and brand back up.
Started watching after olly visited, great videos. Could you not put the food scraps to the sheep to try and keep them off the wheat🤔. And your black lab is a beauty👍
Cheers Lee, not legal allowed to do that, cant even spread cooked food waste on the ground only raw! Cheers shes getting on fine other than wandering onto the road 😡
