a gentle reminder to be kind to yourself today. we are all trying our best and sometimes that only looks like 20%, sometimes its a full 100%, but both are equally important🤍
Hey Tiffanie - I've been watching your IVF journey all while going through my own, and went through this exact same thing 2 weeks ago: had 25 eggs, 12 fertilized, and got a dissapointing call that only 5 made it to blast stage. I was devastated, crying, angry, you name it. But, I'm leaving this comment to say don't give up hope, because when I finally got the results from my PGT testing all 5 had made it through and were getting put on ice. It was such a massive confidence boost, and completely unexpected. Net net, you never know, stay positive, you got this
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, it helps me not feel so alone❤️❤️ and congratulations on 5 healthy embabies! Praying for your journey and successful pregnancy🫶🏻🥹
I had 9 follicles, 7 matured and fertilized eggs, but only 2 made it to day 5 and 6 respectively. I am currently 24 weeks pregnant with my day 5 fresh embryo transfer - we didn’t bother with PGT testing because we only had 2 embryos. No complications so far! All you need is one ❤
We also ended up with 5 embryos at the beginning of October. I will say, the first week after the retrieval I was so emotional coming off the hormones that ALL news sounded like bad news. Praying for you and so thankful that you are so open to sharing your journey! It makes me feel much less alone.
@@elizabethjones6602 that’s exactly how I’ve felt! So weepy. I’m glad that my videos help you feel less alone. Your comments make me feel less alone, so thank you! ❤️❤️ praying for you and your journey!!
Sending you positive energy and like you said be kind to your body and don’t lose hope. You are strong and this too shall pass and god willing you will have 5 perfect embryos. Sending you a big hug as always ❤.
I’ve been watching your IVF journey, and I just want to say you’ve really helped me through this time a lot, as I’m just a few days behind you in the IVF cycle. It’s so hard to stay positive with these low numbers. We only retrieved 8 eggs (I’m 26), and only 4 fertilized. I’m praying that we get at least a couple embryos, but I’m having such a hard time and have been beating myself up a lot over the last two days since we got fertilization results.. We unfortunately cannot do PGT testing so, it’s a hard punch to the gut for me right now :/ I wish I could give you a hug or something. I’m praying you get your two kiddos that you want so badly💖💖 I have a good feeling you’ll get great PGT results 💖 sending you love and positive vibes your way!
@@TaylorW1818 oh Taylor I’m sending you so so much love! I wish I could hug you too! 🫶🏻 praying over your embryos that they will be strong and healthy! We had 2 day 5's make it to blast and hatching. 5 is an amazing result, well done you!! We couldn't do testing, so I had a fresh transfer and that's my perfect little boy sleeping in his cot. You only need 1, it's so very true ❤ always ask for a hatching embryo to be transferred if possible.
@@donnarooney8833 thank you so much for sharing your success! ❤️❤️ I am staying hopeful and I will definitely keep that in mind come transfer time! Thank you! ❤️
I know the feeling! Had 17 retrieved, 15 fertilized and only got 6 embryos. But my embryologist said that these are actually good numbers for one attempt, which gave me some peace of mind. My clinic doesn't offer PGT testing, though, so I will have to just hope for the best. It's hard, but we have to learn not to be greedy going through this journey 🙈
@@gretchen_b1784 it’s crazy how fast the numbers drop! But yes, I am very very thankful for what I have. I pray for healthy strong embryos to successfully transfer and stick for both of us!! ❤️❤️
I had 34 eggs, 30 mature & 20 fertilized. I too was devastated when we only had 4 blastocysts. Dr said they all looked ok and came back from pgt-a all normal. Our first transfer was a male 4AB he did not stick. Second transfer was a female 4BB she stuck but we mc 5w5d. Last transfer we did our last 2 embryos female 3BB & a male 4CB which one ended up sticking and again mc at 5 weeks. I think a normal uterus could have carried either pregnancy. I have endometriosis and I think our embryos were having a hard time finding a good spot to make home.
@@ThePlengers omgosh I am so sorry for your losses 💔 sending you so much love! I have suspected endometriosis but haven’t been told yet it would be a problem for the transfer.. are you planning to try again if you don’t mind me asking?
Aw I"m sorry it was so disappointing. I'm in a very similar situation. .... I had 16 fertilized , none frozen on day 5 (huge bummer) 5 frozen this AM on day 6..... and 11 more that are still being watched....(2 still morula so will almost deff lose those 2) They are hoping to biopsy and freeze a few more in the afternoon and a few more tomorrow. I"m really really hoping for more day 6 embryos b/c I know day 7 isn't great. I would be happy with 5 but I'm so nervous 1 or none come back normal and I'm a recurrent loss of normal babies patient so I don't think 1 or 2 is going to be enough for a live birth for me honestly... I really hope I didn't do all of this for nothing. I also wanted 2 more kids but at this rate I think I can settle for 1 more if I can just manage to make it to a live birth.
