✧⋆⭒˚ I finally made a how I take notes video going over my entire process / system for taking handwritten notes for german. This system helps me maintain a 4.0 GPA (straight A's) in high school (memorize material + understand concepts)˚✩ ₊⊹
How to take notes effectively in language learning?
extra disclaimers:
1. this works for me and might work for some others, but that doesn’t mean you need perfect, neat notes in order to achieve academic success
2. i am a junior and these are the concepts we learn in german based off the IB syllabus, if you think what i learn is too easy, that’s fine, but frankly, i don’t care about how much harder your class is (besides, this video is abt note taking, not about german skills)
3. there’s a weird stereotype abt girls that take nice notes having low GPA’s, i’m living proof that that is not true :)

Because you asked in the end: I actually love your study videos and that's the main reason I found your channel. One of your tiktoks got on my for you page and it was about how you prepped your folders for the new school year. I found out you had a UA-cam channel and now I'm here lol. I mainly stayed for the room decor content (and the aesthetic) because I dont really need new tips on studying though I still watch those videos because its like you said, the study community is nice. I think the product unboxing and review do the best in terms of views, right? I'm not really interested in those but I still watch them (again, for the aesthetic). I'd love to see like actual daily/study routine type of videos because that's what I struggle with the most academically. Not sure if those would make more sense in terms of effort and views. In conclusion I watch everything you post as long as the videos are nice to look at (which they are!!)

this is how i always take notes when im actually paying attention in class! flashcards are actually so important because of how much memorization is needed! also : look up examples of texts/grammatical phenomena online and try to annotate them it is life changing omg you notice sm more

i'm genuinely so impressed by how much work you put into your note-taking, as for myself, i only use my laptop and take notes on notion, i literally ditched all the papers and if feels so much better, plus i never lose anything, i can always edit things... so for me, it's much more efficient and less time-consuming
