Pro tip: If you see a shadow with stealth mode, look at them and use the attack message on them. It makes it easier for you and your team to shoot the shadow and also locate them in the map.

I started this game yesterday and was MVP almost every match (probably cuz I have some experience with mobile and was set up against noobs). But when I look at your gameplay, it's really impressive how you play and how you recognize situations and handle them. Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely try them out :D
I use the Red Eye for a long time. It's really helpful. I used it on my OP friend having 100k XP more than in custom. He always jumps with Killshot with Missile Racks in Acropolis from the left side(his right), I stayed on the right side looking forward to his side keeping an eye on that Red Eye and when he tries to attack from behind, I freeze him with Zephyrs ability and get the kill and then hide and seek keeps ongoing. I never spawn Killshot in front of him knowing that he would kill it with a single Melee Dash.
I highly support more content like this. Sometimes I fall on my face, and it’s my fault. It’s nice getting some shared knowledge here to try to avoid that. Nice work.
Also whenever you kill any human player, be aware of their next drop and where are they going, cause 7 out of 10 they will try to revenge you, sometimes with shadows.
The most important tip would be to avoid spending money on something you don't need. For example if you are going to unlock Carbine 10 or 12, don't buy them there itself, first save the money for them and Railgun combined because it's possible that you won't be able to buy railgun when it's unlocked. Don't buy Missile Rack 6 if you have RPG 6 (which you would probably have), Missile Rack 6 fires just like RPG 6, I first thought that it would fire faster but it doesn't(I dont't find it like Missile Rack 8) . Don't buy mechs and weapons you don't need, buy the stuffs you need first and then go on to these mechs and weapons. It would be better to buy stuffs like Railgun or Carbine (it can be postponded as you need to make a second copy in case of Carbine 10 & 12) as soon as they unlock. You would have a great lead.
If you mean purchasing from the progress path with in game currency then I would generally agree. However if you mean buying things with real money, then ill let others decide how they want to spend money. Spending money keeps this game alive so if people want to spend, I say do it. If you don't, then don't. Play how you want to play and don't let others tell you different ;)
2 fighters 1 tank 1 support and a scout If you wanna be specific Go for Guardian and Panther as Attacker Ares as. Pusher tank Killshot as a decent scout Or a support Zephyr or MD
Pro Tip: Make sure you understand each and every mech/weapon and their capabilities. Know what weapons synergies best with certain mechs to get the best outcome and value out of both the weapon and mech. Having an in-depth knowledge of what’s the best synergies and decisions to make in battle will make you a worthy adversary.
Dear players these tips are solid. Sidenote: if there are 2-5 seconds left and you're not the reason you're team is winning, don't charge to get your 1st kill in the third match. Just let the "Ace" get you a win.
Or use a safer build like javelins or rocket mortars to play back as a support role. Its always good to contribute in some way, but dying isn't contributing either so good point ;)
Excellent video! Battlefield awareness is one of those things that can be difficult to master. It is especially important for ambush builds as a poorly done ambush can end abruptly if there is someone you didn’t notice in the area as well.
Awesome video Scape, always good info. One thing I've been working on is crowding, I can even recall feeling like I got my teammates killed cause I was in the way, either being to thirsty, or taking there cover
Do you mean you crowd others? Yea it can happen. It's also easy for us to fall into spots we like or patterns with a given map and if another play comes along and uses something similar or takes our usual position, we should try a different spot. That's not always easy to do, but it's better than trying to cramp both into a single position and get both of you killed.
Here is a Pro tip: Instead of taping directly the central shoot button, tap first left or right shoot, then the central shoot button. It will unload bullets faster but in sequence. This is particularly effective with carbine, gauss rifle, longarm or pulse, and removes the slight gap between bullet rounds when left/right weapons were unloading at the same time.
Nice video again, I use about all these tips but consistency is what becomes less, ig consistency is what all of us have to work on. imo the best player is someone who is consistent in using good strategies and implementing them to the maximum in any situation on the battlefield. I think you would agree to this as well
I'm a og war robots player but recently played mech arena (currently division 5 with a pretty decent hanger) and I was able to transfer all my knowledge on the battle field of war robots to mech arena and easily dominated the early leagues (Division), cool vid btw this can help with a bunch of players.
Hello scape, i got a little question im not really a pro player so i want to know if is it better to used hybrid build or just normal build and if hybrid build is better should i used arc torrent/missile rack or pulse cannon/missile rack i really eppreciate if you can reply to this thank you
it really depends on the mech, weapon/mech levels, map/situation, and your playstyle. Something like the arc/missile rack couple together very well for close up burst damage. I see pulse cannon/missile rack less, but I can see situations where a tank can suppress the enemy, close the gap, then get some missiles in their face. All depends on your playstyle. Out of the 2 examples, the arc/missile rack combo seems more effective at killing which is often the primary goal. Hope that helps.
Oh forget to metion about killshot i want to put it on killshot so i guess arc torrent/missile rack it is since killshot a brawler right and yeah thanks for replying
@@partyg7699 Yes I would agree thats a better build for killshot. His is a brawler, but usually where he can burst someone down pretty quickly as he doesn't have a ton of hp like other brawls. Pulse cannons seem to work a bit better on other tanky brawls likes Juggy or Ares as they can sustain fire longer.
Yea I figure most already know this, but like I said these are things we all need to keep doing or put into practice better. So these are always good things to do when in any match imo.

Discord is my app/browser app of choice. I assume WhatsApp also has some function like this? I don't use that one but I know quite a few players from India do to talk. Not sure if its just text or if you can do voice while in game though. But yea - discord is what I use and enjoy for just about all gaming I do with voice chat.

Nah, I'd say this is probably one of the two most important things that'll help you win games. The other one is how well you can control your mech and understand your opponent's mech
Hi scape I need your help. I have been playing for just over a month now and have reached 300k. I dont know whether to buy the missle rack 8 or save for the disc launcher 8. Disc launcher is my dream weapon but idk if its worth it. What should I do?
No idea. My gut says next week since I know it will be sometime this month and I would think it makes sense to start right after the Halloween event. However, they may take a break in between for a vault blitz. Just my guess though.
One thing that does annoy me about this game is when you lose you can get upto - 60 points but if you win the most you get get is +50. Why don't they say if the team you are on get atleast 50 points each then depends where you are in that team you get extra points.
You do get bonus points for being on the winning team in any match so its generally favorable to win when you can if your goal is to rank up. However, losing points might be better if you are trying to learn new weapons or overall improve your skill. If it just lets you rank up too fast, you could end up in a higher bracket and get crushed (which can certainly happen and sometimes does). Having a way for you to move up or down helps to even this out a bit.

Good morning and good night just started playing this game this week I don't know if this is a pro tip but all take note of the Weapons and mech matchup and all so time is good in Team work and also good to keep Count of ammunition use😑
Something I noticed is that you don't reload very often. I get in a tense situation, you always want to be armed. But in the 2v2 at the end, you had plenty of time. Mabye I'm stupid, and missing something obvious. But idk, seems a bit inefficient
Some of it might be situational or where I think I may have an enemy on me. Other times its due to misplays for me (which is likely the case here). I'm sure I could reload more, but if I'm focusing on the map or doing something else I can forget. Plus, in that last match I was running zephyr and I often run arc10s on him which don't require manual reloading. So it could've been a habitual thing.
@@scape211 i get that, I remember a while ago, swapped mr8 panther for dual longarm 10s and i kept forgetting to reload for a while. Its especially hard with the long arm because you never know if you could one shot an enemy with that one bullet, but then no enemy turns up and you just wasted 10 or so seconds you could have spent reloading.
Why is the game coded so that the smaller mechs can push the larger ones, I swear I get pushed out of cover by my teammates at least once a day. But nothing compares to winning a sniper duel in a lane with a narrow entrance, trying to back up to reload, and getting blocked by an MD who refuses to get out of my way because they just have to hit the Aries with their autocannon and getting us both killed.
Carb10 has more long term benefits. But if you can wait to get the carb12 it has even more and is always worth doing a second copy for end game. The carb10 has phased out for many people end game.
I really wish that autoaim could be turned off (for non homing weapons ofc) the amount of times i have tried to lead my missile rack shots and auto aim has fucked me is wild
Yea i have had the auto aim sometimes veer off the target onto nothing. Not even to another player. Sometimes just right into the ground or the side or something. Very irritating.

I hope just as Ares with Disc Launcher was a hint that Disc Launcher 8/12/16 are on the way in future, that mystery weapon will also be added, but it shouldn't be in crate rush, MAN I hate Gacha style Crate Rush Events!

@@scape211 Things like: if you hit the settings Button during the game right before you die You can spawn in immediately Or if you sit under your panthershield correctly When rocket mortars hit the ground they won't deal damage to you Or when you spawn a panther shield and there are cheetah mines if you walk on the opposite side of the panthershield you won't take damage Things like that
you can actually block rocket mortars using panthers stasis barrier just stand in the barrier this might sound dumb because of how thin the barrier is but it actually works lol you can also do this with javelins you can block a few shots but not all the shots
Standing in the barrier depends on how you stand and how the rockets are coming in. Often times I still take some damage, but less when using only the barrier. If you can position the barrier near another structure or make it like a triangle shape, it can block it all, but you cant always achieve these situations. I used the overhead structure with my barrier here to make sure I covered the gaps the archway would leave. It's all about working with what you have and knowing the limitations of certain strategies.
@Trooper Yea Javs is one thing. Mortars is another and where I tend to take some damage if I only rely on my barrier. I often use other things to help protect myself.
Just push the joystick further ahead. However, if you are on the computer (emulator) you will need to adjust your controls for it. I personally don't know how to do that, but some other videos people make explain how to.
@@scape211 thanks. I play using mobile. It worked, pushing further ahead triggered the run. I guess on a mobile it is not intuitive due to the extra thumb motion...thanks for the vid, we need more vids on the actual combat! Eg. Aiming using longarms!! How to use cover and avoid javs/mortar...hehe.
@@neexie I did touch on javs and mortars a little, but it wasn't an extensive guide. This was about overall practice. But maybe in the future. Glad you got sprint working!
I could, but it depends on what you are trying to do. If you are referring it to people who already play the game, then it won't give you a referral. If you are just using it to complete the event, it's easy to just send the link anywhere (sometimes just even bring up the window) to complete it. But overall, the referral system is a bit buggy depending on your device, browser of choice, etc etc so I don't know if making a video will help as each person has different issues that I don't know how to troubleshoot.
A tip I learned is that if you went aggressive,and trying to retreat you should not turn around and walk you should walk backward to reduce damage and see who is attacking you.
It actually depends, if the corner is far then you have no choice but to turn and run because you will take way more damage if you dont turn and slowly walk back, but if the corner behind you is in a small distance then you can do that.
Nah I just go for it after hitting a few good shots . Ofcourse gotta be quick and I am . Then dash in with my maxed killed shot with railgun and missile 8 build . Worked out most of the times but yeah got killed too 🤣 . This is because if u take out the all the eggs in the basket it's literally u can win the match .

Some maps like forbidden city are hard to win if you mostly have tanks in your hanger, i guess having a mix of all the classes is helpful too.

Hi scape I need your help. I have been playing for just over a month now and have reached 300k. I dont know whether to buy the missle rack 8 or save for the disc launcher 8. Disc launcher is my dream weapon but idk if its worth it. What should I do?
And if I should save for the disc launcher do u have any tips on earning money fast?
Disc launcher 8 is decent but missile rack 8 is better IMO. I would get that instead.

No idea. My gut says next week since I know it will be sometime this month and I would think it makes sense to start right after the Halloween event. However, they may take a break in between for a vault blitz. Just my guess though.

One thing that does annoy me about this game is when you lose you can get upto - 60 points but if you win the most you get get is +50. Why don't they say if the team you are on get atleast 50 points each then depends where you are in that team you get extra points.

You do get bonus points for being on the winning team in any match so its generally favorable to win when you can if your goal is to rank up. However, losing points might be better if you are trying to learn new weapons or overall improve your skill. If it just lets you rank up too fast, you could end up in a higher bracket and get crushed (which can certainly happen and sometimes does). Having a way for you to move up or down helps to even this out a bit.

I don't know if this is a pro tip but all take note of the Weapons and mech matchup and all so time is good in Team work and also good to keep Count of ammunition use😑
Something I noticed is that you don't reload very often. I get in a tense situation, you always want to be armed. But in the 2v2 at the end, you had plenty of time. Mabye I'm stupid, and missing something obvious. But idk, seems a bit inefficient
Some of it might be situational or where I think I may have an enemy on me. Other times its due to misplays for me (which is likely the case here). I'm sure I could reload more, but if I'm focusing on the map or doing something else I can forget. Plus, in that last match I was running zephyr and I often run arc10s on him which don't require manual reloading. So it could've been a habitual thing.
@@scape211 i get that, I remember a while ago, swapped mr8 panther for dual longarm 10s and i kept forgetting to reload for a while. Its especially hard with the long arm because you never know if you could one shot an enemy with that one bullet, but then no enemy turns up and you just wasted 10 or so seconds you could have spent reloading.
Why is the game coded so that the smaller mechs can push the larger ones, I swear I get pushed out of cover by my teammates at least once a day. But nothing compares to winning a sniper duel in a lane with a narrow entrance, trying to back up to reload, and getting blocked by an MD who refuses to get out of my way because they just have to hit the Aries with their autocannon and getting us both killed.

Carb10 has more long term benefits. But if you can wait to get the carb12 it has even more and is always worth doing a second copy for end game. The carb10 has phased out for many people end game.

I really wish that autoaim could be turned off (for non homing weapons ofc) the amount of times i have tried to lead my missile rack shots and auto aim has fucked me is wild

Yea i have had the auto aim sometimes veer off the target onto nothing. Not even to another player. Sometimes just right into the ground or the side or something. Very irritating.

Tips for playing bettering in any match
Rule 1 : always use dual maxed railgun
What if someone doesn't have the railgun?

@@scape211 Things like: if you hit the settings Button during the game right before you die You can spawn in immediately
Or if you sit under your panthershield correctly When rocket mortars hit the ground they won't deal damage to you
Or when you spawn a panther shield and there are cheetah mines if you walk on the opposite side of the panthershield you won't take damage

you can actually block rocket mortars using panthers stasis barrier just stand in the barrier this might sound dumb because of how thin the barrier is but it actually works lol you can also do this with javelins you can block a few shots but not all the shots
Standing in the barrier depends on how you stand and how the rockets are coming in. Often times I still take some damage, but less when using only the barrier. If you can position the barrier near another structure or make it like a triangle shape, it can block it all, but you cant always achieve these situations. I used the overhead structure with my barrier here to make sure I covered the gaps the archway would leave. It's all about working with what you have and knowing the limitations of certain strategies.
@Trooper Yea Javs is one thing. Mortars is another and where I tend to take some damage if I only rely on my barrier. I often use other things to help protect myself.

How do you dash/run with any mech?
Just push the joystick further ahead. However, if you are on the computer (emulator) you will need to adjust your controls for it. I personally don't know how to do that, but some other videos people make explain how to.
@@scape211 thanks. I play using mobile. It worked, pushing further ahead triggered the run. I guess on a mobile it is not intuitive due to the extra thumb motion...thanks for the vid, we need more vids on the actual combat! Eg. Aiming using longarms!! How to use cover and avoid javs/mortar...hehe.
@@neexie I did touch on javs and mortars a little, but it wasn't an extensive guide. This was about overall practice. But maybe in the future. Glad you got sprint working!

I could, but it depends on what you are trying to do. If you are referring it to people who already play the game, then it won't give you a referral. If you are just using it to complete the event, it's easy to just send the link anywhere (sometimes just even bring up the window) to complete it. But overall, the referral system is a bit buggy depending on your device, browser of choice, etc etc so I don't know if making a video will help as each person has different issues that I don't know how to troubleshoot.

A tip I learned is that if you went aggressive,and trying to retreat you should not turn around and walk you should walk backward to reduce damage and see who is attacking you.
It actually depends, if the corner is far then you have no choice but to turn and run because you will take way more damage if you dont turn and slowly walk back, but if the corner behind you is in a small distance then you can do that.

Nah I just go for it after hitting a few good shots . Ofcourse gotta be quick and I am . Then dash in with my maxed killed shot with railgun and missile 8 build . Worked out most of the times but yeah got killed too 🤣 . This is because if u take out the all the eggs in the basket it's literally u can win the match .
