Yea its very easy to dismiss Juggy early on since his energy is so low. However he is a great tank once invested into. I personally like him better than Ares, but they have a lot of similarities.
Well, I know that most people do not think of the Missile Racks as a long range weapon. They do have 150 meter range. In some cases very few but some you can mow down your enemy from that far away with the Missile Racks. Now it is hard to do considering how slow they shoot.

at 12 energy, i would suggest using a longarm 8 and a javelin rack 4. longarm 8 for longer distances, and the javelin rack for like completely finishing off an enemy

I was trying stasis beam 12 + shotgun 8 on my mid-game guardian (similar to what he suggested here for Jugg and also previously on the Guardian video) but I was losing constantly. At least now I know my strategy was sound, I was just an unskilled player! Lol
This jug is beefy and tanky and can obviously get godlike in every battle. If we are on 16 or 18 energy we can use railgun he will come in the enemies base
That’s a fun build! I know I didn’t mention it but that’s mainly because most people don’t have it early on in the game. However, it can work quite well on juggy.
well i use an plasma cannom and a rank 2 rpg 2 at 8 energy ,also juggernaut has high health and a tough shield so for me sustained weapons work great on him
Good question! I depends on how you plan to play. Juggy is a more dedicated tank and generally works good whether with a team or solo. Ares is more team focus and/or alpha strike focused. Some consider Juggy better in having the highest raw hp+shield total. While Ares is quite close and has a bigger shield that can come back. He also has a little more speed than Juggy. Each incorporates different playstyles. Personally I find juggy to be slightly better as hes easier to use solo, but still useful on a team. Its why i chose him to upgrade to 5 stars first. No worries tye thermal lance 2 can last long until the plasma cannon 4 relodes When the thermal lance 2 out of ammo plasma cannon4 will do the job and so on
Hey thanks! What you are asking isn’t possible unfortunately. Weapons that come in pairs (8 energy and below) that’s all you get. You can’t get a second pair. But weapons 10 energy and up come individually and when upgraded to rank 6 stars you can get a second copy completing the pair.

You're right I didn't. I thought about doing it, but I don't see it too often. It's a good build for that bracket, but often times that early people don't have it. I suppose they would if they bought it, but I also don't see many people rush to buy it like they do missile rack 8. Does that build work well for you? If so keep running what works!
I had him with dual arc torrent 6s (a very quick kill but leaves you exposed at a distance) and have now switched those to my Killshot with much greater success. Because Jugg is so slow, the only place I can keep him from dying is under cover in close quarters. Those conditions are nonexistent on the open maps, which means half the time, I only have a squad of four, as he’s essentially useless. For sniping, he’s a decent option but there are others that are arguably better. In this sense Jugg is a lot like Paragon, in that he’s not particularly great at any one style of combat. And how many of those types of mechs do you really need?
in the very early game, this is true. However, you will soon find that sustain damage weapons fall a little behind burst damage ones. Mainly because it's easy for the enemy to react to long term sustain damage and because it requires constant exposure and line of sight to hit enemies with. Plus, 2 and 4 cost weapons become less useful as your mechs get higher in power and you want to equip stronger weapons to hit higher level opponents. That said, autocannons are great early game weapons for learning the basics of the game. After that though, they can fall off pretty quick. If you like sustain damage, then I recommend getting the Pulse Cannon 8s when they become available. Or if you are someone who spends money in game, you could get the Carbine 8s. They are both great weapons and will replace the auto cannon for sustain damage.
TBH it’s one I don’t see too often so I didn’t put it here. It can make sense early on I think, but I don’t know how long you will use it for or how good it will be on juggy. From my admittedly limited experience with it on juggy, smart enemies will just backup since he is super slow and can’t chase them down. Then they just deal damage outside his effective range. But I never really did it in the early game. Maybe it’s ok there.
Shotguns can be good here. Nothing has as much punch in the early game. However, I found it hard for Juggy. Because he is so slow and the range on shotguns is only 30-40m (depending on your star level) most mechs can move out of his effective range pretty quick. But hey if it works for you keep doing it!

I wish I upgraded juggy instead of buying Ares as I get beat with AI juggies all the time. I unloaded 2 clips of 4 star pulse cannon 8s and he still outlasted my shield and full health bar.
After you unlock something in your progress path you still have to purchase them. Click on the Mech you want to equip them on and scroll to the weapon you want.

running the jugs for the first time in a while for the skins event, and it's surprisingly decent still, even only rank 3 (I'm running RPG6 at rank 4). I tend to prefer the Ares as my tank - I like the shield behavior (it's persistent until blown off then it comes back to reuse), plus the Ares is faster, which makes a difference in the match IMO. Trick with the Ares is to battlefield awareness, don't let the reds be anywhere but in front of you when possible. However, at my current mid-level status, I might just keep Jug in with Ares, as I replaced my seldom used Lancer with the Jug for now. Might even upgrade it :)
Juggy used to be clearly better and now Ares had a slight edge. One nice thing for juggy is that when timed well, his shield can eat burst damage and problem weapons like javs and rocket mortars. A competent Ares player can handle these too, but I still think juggy with a full body shield might be better in those cases. Beyond that though, Ares is easier to run most times.

I think I would kinda like it if they make an option that you can self-destroy your own shield at will, because if your shield has taken a beating it would be hot trash to defend against any attacker
btw which mechs do you like to use?? Personally I like to use the dual railgun build on my panther (I call it devastator or thanosV2) and just wreck the other mechs with killshot (Sometimes MR8 or sometimes Carbine 12 duals)
@卂几ㄩ乃丨丂 Yes it would cost a lot of acoins, but its a common on people ask about. I personally find the pc8/carb10 build quite similar and think its a cheaper option for much the same effect. For me, the carbine 8s are the lowest of importance for unlocking of all the prototype weapons. But if you are someone who is willing to put money into the game and buy stuff, carbine 8s are more favorable early on to up your game so you don't have to invest in pc8s. Ultimately it's different for everyone.

Some skins are in the lot that you can see for your mechs. Some are not and related to or connected to timed events. For example the white carbon on my killshot was for a killshot based event. But the black carbon on my juggy is one anyone should be able to get from skin crate pulls with some luck.

@@Silly-Ak its ok for early game, but I think you will want to take out or limit use of juggy and MD early on. I would focus on investing into panther and killshot, then work on getting other key mechs and weapons. I have a basic progress path guide for that kind of stuff.

I think Juggernaut actually becomes good when you have him at 8 or 12 energy
I haven't used it on a jub, but carb 10+mr8 worked well on a killshot.

Its better for your shadow, he can just sneak up behind mechs and deal railgun lvl damage while u are at the lvl

It does now. When I made this video his ability used to work like Ares does now (no countdown) but they changed it. It counts down for everyone now.

I tend to prefer the Ares as my tank - I like the shield behavior (it's persistent until blown off then it comes back to reuse), plus the Ares is faster, which makes a difference in the match IMO. Trick with the Ares is to battlefield awareness, don't let the reds be anywhere but in front of you when possible. However, at my current mid-level status, I might just keep Jug in with Ares, as I replaced my seldom used Lancer with the Jug for now. Might even upgrade it :)
Juggy used to be clearly better and now Ares had a slight edge. One nice thing for juggy is that when timed well, his shield can eat burst damage and problem weapons like javs and rocket mortars. A competent Ares player can handle these too, but I still think juggy with a full body shield might be better in those cases. Beyond that though, Ares is easier to run most times.

I think I would kinda like it if they make an option that you can self-destroy your own shield at will, because if your shield has taken a beating it would be hot trash to defend against any attacker
btw which mechs do you like to use?? Personally I like to use the dual railgun build on my panther (I call it devastator or thanosV2) and just wreck the other mechs with killshot (Sometimes MR8 or sometimes Carbine 12 duals)

That’s good too. I mention it when I did pulse cannon 8/carbine 10 as another common one at that point. It’s a great build too.
@卂几ㄩ乃丨丂 Yes it would cost a lot of acoins, but its a common on people ask about. I personally find the pc8/carb10 build quite similar and think its a cheaper option for much the same effect. For me, the carbine 8s are the lowest of importance for unlocking of all the prototype weapons. But if you are someone who is willing to put money into the game and buy stuff, carbine 8s are more favorable early on to up your game so you don't have to invest in pc8s. Ultimately it's different for everyone.

This was a feature that was recently changed in game. You used to be able to get a second copy of mechs when you upgraded it to rank 6, but now you simply get a higher energy capacity. However, you can still get a second copy of weapons 10 energy and higher when you upgrade to rank 6. The second copies of mechs that people now have will eventually be taken away.

How u get all carbon fiber skins on all ur bots
Some skins are in the lot that you can see for your mechs. Some are not and related to or connected to timed events. For example the white carbon on my killshot was for a killshot based event. But the black carbon on my juggy is one anyone should be able to get from skin crate pulls with some luck.

@@Silly-Ak its ok for early game, but I think you will want to take out or limit use of juggy and MD early on. I would focus on investing into panther and killshot, then work on getting other key mechs and weapons. I have a basic progress path guide for that kind of stuff.
