Get Portugal&Galicia friendship going, you can probably get France as an ally whole playthrough, then maybe colonize and stuff, should be pretty chill.
I think Galicia is in a good position to become a colonial power since you're on the Atlantic, and you'd be in a good position to expand into Portugal too, maybe make them your vassal if you can make them small enough and then they can settle colonies for you.
In your independence war you should try to give away as much of casteals coast and islands as you can even if you don't take it yourself if they don't have a coast they can't colonize
What i highly recommend for you doing in campaigns like this is attacking countries who are allied to your ally when you are at war together with them. Eg attack kotte when youre at war with viy while you called in bahamanis. This way they will never join the war unless they peace out which they wouldnt do because they desire viy land. Its a nice way to get around stupid alliances in playthroughs with tinier countires :) Great video als always btw :D and happy youre well again after the flu
Considering your strong economic base and Merc discount in national ideas, should’ve gone merc ideas! Would’ve really helped in Bahmani war, and w Empower Poligars (better than Strengthen!), could’ve stacked some good inf combat as well
All Gaul is divided into one part: As Galicia reuinite all the lands and people named from Celtic tribes that sound like “Gaul” So France region, Ireland (Gaelic speakers), Highlander culture (Goidelic language family), and the areas of Galicia and Galatia (aka Ankara iirc). Oh and the colony in galata is named after the same tribe as Galatia I think, so best conquer Constantinople, just to be safe.
Very nice, congrats. Can you please tell us how you manager to save your economy from 20 ducats in interest to just 5? I'm asking you that because I tried a campaign with Kandy, took the entire southern India from Vij, but the economy remained low.
not to be a nit picker but 1 why dont you use return core when you declare reconquest? it costs about the same (only the province thats the war goal is cheaper) and would grant +40 opinion per province returned (also kinda exploit but if you declare reconquest you can take the province for which you declare for yourself assuming you can take it and it costs the same AE) and point 2 andhra has a core of golconda from which you can release it getting second vassal for duchies and reconquest on bahmanis for that juicy gem mine
Hawk, I've noticed that you play on 0 stab a lot and it's costing you a lot of money (positive stab means prosperity growth which means more goods produced, dev cost, and autonomy change in your states). It's absolutely always worth staying at 1 stab imo.
The capital of Galicia is Santiago de Compostela, soy you should conquer nueva Galicia (in Mexico) Santiago de Cuba, Santiago del Estero (in Argentina) and Santiago de Chile Also conquer Portugal
A lot happened during the 30-years war in terms of treaties, probably foremost of all is the establishment of the entire concept of Westphalian Sovereignity.

Would be cool to see a campaign where u use AI to make decision (e.g. alliances and war declarations) on what you should do.
I'm sorry but him talking about his plan to white peace Bahmanis while the White Peace notif flashes in the top left is too funny
Since you rarely go for a colonial game it would be cool if you had some colonies as Galicia

IRL, Galician and Portuguese are pretty much the same language. Reunite that real-life culture. Do the necessary expansion by talking all of Portugal.
