So sad to hear of the passing of Bruce Guthro. I only discovered him a few years ago. I loved his great voice and thought he was amazing at whatever he sang. He was also a lovely guy. My Grandmother came from Carrick Fergus.x
Sorry to spoil a great tune, but don't get the Scotland, calmac thing, the song is about Carrickfergus in county Antrim, Northern Ireland, would have been nice to actually see carrick, beautiful seafront, and a lovely castle
