I wish they could bring back Toontown, I miss that the most. It holds one of the fondest memories for me as a child, especially watching Minnie's cake bake in the oven inside of her house! Also Osborne Family Lights!
I think the Main Street Electrical Parade was the high point of my whole visit in 2013. Something about that old-fashioned Moog music charmed me in a way their modern parade music doesn't.
I miss EPCOT circa 1982-1987...back when touch screens weren't so ubiquitous, Dreamfinder was Figment's friend, and you actually learned something about Energy at that pavilion. And the garden feature in Living With the Land had friggin' huge fruits and vegetables.
SPECTRO MAGIC was what I miss more then anything. The music was amazing and the lights were better then the main street light parade. I can barely remember world of motion as a kid. I do miss it also. I recall at the end of the ride they would have futuristic cars.
I'm going to show my age, but here goes - 1. If You Had Wings 2. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea 3. Skyway between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland 4. The Communicore area in Epcot where you interacted with cast members via two way TV who made your dinner reservations, etc.
Skyway to Tomorrowland. Different and interesting views (perspectives) of Cinderella's Castle, FantasyLand, Space Mountain,Contemporary, and don't forget 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, which brings me to my other attraction that I'd like to see return. What a incredibly big set -piece/ride especially from above!.
The Living Seas at Epcot blew me away when i was in my teens. This was right before the TV show seaQuest DSV aired and i remember loving the futuristic look and feel of the attraction.
I miss Mr Toad's Wild Ride, Off Kilter in the Canada pavilion, the original Dreamfinder with Figment, Snow White's Scary Adventures, the Earful Tower at MGM/Hollywood Studios, MGM-Hollywood studios when they really were working studios and sets, and the Adventurer's Club.
I miss the Adventurer's Club from the old Downtown Disney. Love what they've done with Disney Springs, you're absolutely right that what they had in place before wasn't working. But the Adventurer's Club was so unique and fun.
I would love to see a brand new Horizons II. That was my favorite Epcot attraction. Also, bring back the original Journey into Imagination with Dream Finder. The original was a classic and why Disney changed it to something everyone doesn't like is beyond me.
1) Adventures Club [Maybe in Animal Kingdom as a dinner show 2) Spectromagic 3)Original Figment [or a Figment roller coaster 4) Crainal Command [Inside Out Edition] 5) Remember the Magic Parade [with new characters]
Why HAVEN'T they made a Cranium Command with the Inside Out characters yet?! Joy and Sadness had the longest line (second, probably, to Elsa and Anna) when I went to Epcot back in March. Clearly, they are popular enough to warrant a ride.
I LOVE the Main Street Electrical Parade! So glad it's home in CA where it belongs! I wish SpectroMagic would return to WDW, but if not, you guys can keep Paint the Night.
Great call on your attractions. I agree with them all, but would love to add: 1 - Wonders of Life's Body Wars and Crainal Command (even the "Inside Out" update some are saying). 2 - We enjoyed Adventurer's Club, and agree with nicer nightclubs. 3 - I understand why they did it, but miss the whole buildup in getting into The Living Seas. You could almost believe you were getting to a seabase, not just going into an aquarium.
I really wish the backlot tour was still at DHS. It was always one of my favorites. I think the GMR is the heart of DHS, celebrating the silver screen and Hollywood's golden age, while the backlot tour was the brain, celebrating the inner workings of the film industry. What makes DHS my favorite Disney park is my love of film, on screen and off, and I think those two really encompassed that. I'd hate to see the GMR suffer a similar fate as the backlot tour. Sure, they both had/have their problems, but for a park celebrating movies, it seems more logical to iron out the kinks than scrap the attractions altogether.
I wasn't around when he was there. But Dreamfinder coming back to Journey into Imagination would be amazing. I heard rumours they would be re-remaking the ride but this time with Dreamfinder and figment in their Steampunk Marvel comics style. which is fine by me so long as they make the damn thing good again.
I was underage during my college program and I loved the night clubs!!! My friends and I would go out every Thursday just to dance and have fun! I never even had a drink in PI and still had a blast. Wish there was still something like the Adventurer's Club
The attractions that I would like to see return are The Osborne Family Lights, Skyleidoscope at Epcot, World of Motion, Horizons, the original Journey to Imitation, the Riverboat Ride at Animal Kingdom and the Skyway gondola ride at Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately I'm sure they're all gone forever.
I think it would be a great way to re-boost the new Tomorrowland to bring that ride back, even with a few more modern effects (smoother animatronics, etc). I still love the dark rides as an adult, and having a dark ride that is leaning more toward the teen / adult audience would be super fun!
People still end up getting off of the ride early still to this day... for it being too scary (it's in a critical point where if they raise the height limit any they end up making the ride infeasible to continue to operate given that it would at that point the height restriction would make it to the point where they would be unable to hold any audience with the target audience)
Why not make it a Treasure Planet or Wall*E ride? both would be hard to go out of style (Wall*E of course is more likely), and Wall*E is set so far in the future that it could be a ride in Disneyland past the colonization of Mars if that ever happens, and still be "futuristic"
I loved World of Motion. In 1984 Epcot Center was so amazing to my child's eye. I'd definitely like to see original Journey into the Imagination too - miss that, hate the new version.
I'd like to see most of the original EPCOT attractions brought back! I loved late 80's EPCOT and early '90s EPCOT and MGM. Sooo good. I especially miss the old songs of EPCOT, like Listen to the Land, Tomorrow's Child, Horizons, etc... and definitely the whole original Journey Into Imagination ride! Yeah, I totally miss World of Motion! Also Kitchen Kabaret and Cranium Command!
The 3 of you need to do a Vlog and go to EDC Orlando in November! For those who don't know, it's a basically a rave held outdoors for 2 days. Ryno did say he wanted to dance!
May i suggest `5 Epcot World Showcase pavilions needing an overhaul`? I did the CRP programe in 2007-2008, and even when i worked in the UK pavilion, i was always struck by how many wasted opportunities they had for an attraction. Every time ive been since, i an struck by the same thought and then some.
My Top 5 for Florida 1) Journey Into Imagination (One of my biggest sources of inspiration) 2) SpectroMagic (This parade was the final push to influence to compose music.) 3) The Adventurer's Club (Always a lot of fun. Kungaloosh!) 4) 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (I'm a big Jules Verne fan) 5) Mr. Toad's Wild Ride And an honorable mentions to Horizons and Kitchen Kabaret for I never got to give them a try but I wish I could have.
I only know of Spectromagic, which I loved when I saw as a kid. The floats were amazing, especially with the lights, and I loved the music. I hate to hear that it's gone. You were saying that there's no night time parade at all? That's weird. I guess maybe so the fireworks shown at the castle can just be the main attraction instead of a parade, then fireworks?
My wife dug her nails into me on Alien Encounter, begging to be let out. That was a great ride. Two that I would have liked to see stay were Lights, Motors Action and the Backlot Tour. I know that they needed the space for Star Wars Land and Toy Story Land, and I am sure I will love those, but giving a behind-the-scenes look at movie-making would still be a fun attraction for Hollywood Studios.
Alien Encounter was just fine, it should have been at Disney/MGM Studios though. I miss 'If You Had Wings' for MK. Sort of Soarin' in Doom Buggies is the only way to describe it. Epcot, I miss Communicore. They were so awesome to learn about new technologies. and i do miss Osborne lights at DHS but the original way where you strolled through them and CMs gave you the glasses and sold hot cocoa. I also miss River Country and Discovery Island though I do know why they're gone and why they would not work any longer. There was an 'experience' at the Poly from the late 70s/early 80s where parents dropped their kids off and the kids took a boat ride out to a deserted island (I think where GF is now) and you'd dig for buried treasure which was S'more stuff and bottles of Coke. Then you'd have a fire and roast marshmallows and ending with taking the boat back to the Poly but not before running up the skull and crossbones and threatening to board the ferry. Best.thing.ever. at Disney.
It's a dry ice fog machine, and disco balls in the '70's. Gosh help me Gloria Gaynor, I'm having a flash back! But seriously the young adults want somewhere to dance. There is a great place in Vegas where mostly locals go (not near the strip), with both live music and dj, pool tables, fooseball, giant chess on the patio, etc. It is so much fun. A venue like this would be great for Disney Springs.
Pleasure island was awesome back in the days.. The night clubs, The stage shows and restaurants.Maniques was my favorite night club.Thr rotating floor was pretty cool !!!
I want few of Toontown country houses back either behind the Storybook Circus or where Disney should build a plantation of Florida residents living in WDW
Agreeing with Ryno - I visited Pleasure Island in 2002 or 2003 and we stayed up in BET Soundstage most the night. it was GREAT! I missed that. I can compromise with 1 nightclub for dancing. There was a place here in San Francisco 20 some-odd years ago called DV8... 3 floors... 3 music types... the best fun in the world. DS needs this sort of thing!
Yes, SOOOOOO miss more of Figment - and the Dream FInder! Used to love the meet and and greet they had in the gardens outside. And the Imagination Playground upstairs, where the DVC Lounge is now!
VIDEO SUGGESTION, maybe for closer to the holidays: Top holiday shows, features, or treats that the team wants to see come back! Maybe do a separate video for the food. Also, Top vintage things the guys never got to experience that they want to try!
I agree about maelstrom. It was also sad to see the commercial Disney invade Epcot. Goes against the mission of that park. And the frozen ride sucks. I loved the electrical parade. It was amazing
Eric Lane I can't like your comment enough!! That's exactly what I wish it was. My husband and I went there with another couple 7 years ago and we got bored and left. sad.
I completely agree with the Spectromagic conversation!! I am 17 years old so Spectromagic is the the parade I grew up watching. Main Street Electrical Parade never felt right to me. I still have the Spectromagic cd in my car! Really hope they come up with a new parade that feels more "Walt Disney World" soon.
Please bring back the scary Snow White ride from 1971 and the original soaring over California which is better than new one. I rather smell oranges than dirt.
long live figment and I so miss the original electrical parade for pure nostalgia
I wish they could bring back Toontown, I miss that the most. It holds one of the fondest memories for me as a child, especially watching Minnie's cake bake in the oven inside of her house! Also Osborne Family Lights!
I really hope they do keep Epcot informative. That's what makes it so great.
"What is that Ride??... oh yeah, that's my favorite"
Nice Ryno!
These guys are like the holy trinity of the DIS unplugged... for real...
Dean C true true
By far my favorite trio combination.
I like Pete
Dean C I agree. These guys together is my favorite.
*cough* OLIVER GREEN *cough*
I think the Main Street Electrical Parade was the high point of my whole visit in 2013. Something about that old-fashioned Moog music charmed me in a way their modern parade music doesn't.

MR. TOAD! But I agree with most of your picks as well. But mostly MR. TOAD!
thank you Craig, for pronouncing maelstrom correctly for Steve
I'm with you on Norway 100%. Was my late wife's favorite ride. Glad we got to see it one last time in 2012.
I agree about Spectro Magic!! Also Dream along with Mickey! The Tarzan Show!
I miss Spectromagic so much. If that came back it would be incredible. And toon town!
I agree with Steve Porter on Norway, and pretty much everything else.
SPECTRO MAGIC was what I miss more then anything. The music was amazing and the lights were better then the main street light parade. I can barely remember world of motion as a kid. I do miss it also. I recall at the end of the ride they would have futuristic cars.
The Adventurer's Club, man do I miss that show.
I'm going to show my age, but here goes -
1. If You Had Wings
2. 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea
3. Skyway between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland
4. The Communicore area in Epcot where you interacted with cast members via two way TV who made your dinner reservations, etc.
Daniel NYC I completely forgot about the skyway
I LOVED it as a kid!
Spectromagic was there during my college program in 2007. By far my favorite night parade!
1) The Great Movie Ride. 2) Horizons. 3) Maelstrom
Craig is my favorite dis member! He is a combination of Jim and Dwight from The Office. Please don't ever stop reporting sir!
The thing I would like to see return to WDW would be riding in the front of the monorail with the operator.
I saw Spectromagic in the thumbnail and I was like Yup Hope it comes back it screams Disney to me
Mr. Toad's Wild RIde. One of the first rides I ever went on at WDW.
Spectro Magic is the very top of my list. I know they say it's never coming back, but Disney can do anything they want. The music was amazing!
0:45 the look when Steve wanted to throw Ryno off 1,000 bridges into fiery pits of He11 for not knowing what Maelstrom was
AndrewZ that made my day! Hahaha. 😆
?
You cracked me up!
And then Craig's reaction mat 9:39 when Ryan is thinking of the wrong Magellan!
I have an idea. Top 5 Disney attractions in need of refurbishment. (e.g. Expedition Everest with the Yeti, etc)
Great idea!
Ian Chaille Love this idea!
wonders of life
Even though I love these attractions, I think Spaceship Earth, Tower Of Terror, and Great Movie Ride could use refurbishments.
I can't believe they didn't mention Adventurers Club...,
Great job, guys! Chuckie dolls from Spectrol! LOL. Your reminiscing reminded me - again - of how OLD I am, and how YOUNG you all are! :)
Body wars! I really miss that one.
Yes I really would love a nighttime parade. Preferably one that lights up
I miss the Adventurer's Club from the old Downtown Disney. Love what they've done with Disney Springs, you're absolutely right that what they had in place before wasn't working. But the Adventurer's Club was so unique and fun.
Veela GeekQueen yess
SpectroMagic 2.0! I have got to have that MUSIC back! Just create new technologically advanced floats.
Love all three of you guys. Any classic attraction.
John G loved Cranium Command!
John G OH MY GOSH CRANIUM COMMAND INSIDE OUT IM DONE
I LOVE the Main Street Electrical Parade! So glad it's home in CA where it belongs! I wish SpectroMagic would return to WDW, but if not, you guys can keep Paint the Night.
Spectromagic on select nights for nostalgic purposes :)
Great call on your attractions. I agree with them all, but would love to add:
1 - Wonders of Life's Body Wars and Crainal Command (even the "Inside Out" update some are saying).
2 - We enjoyed Adventurer's Club, and agree with nicer nightclubs.
3 - I understand why they did it, but miss the whole buildup in getting into The Living Seas. You could almost believe you were getting to a seabase, not just going into an aquarium.
I agree with you, Steve, concerning "keeping EPCOT educational".
PLEASURE FREAKING ISLAND!!!!! And the Adventurers Club.
MSEP for sure!!! It makes me think of sitting outside at Casey's listening to the music that is so fun!!!!
"I wanna dance sometimes... And there's no where to dance" this is my new motto
I need Spectro Magic back😭 the best nighttime parade
i agree with Craig about Norway. i was hella mad whrn my son and i walked through and could barely walk through lol
Without a doubt, I miss the Adventurers Club. They need to bring that back!
I really wish the backlot tour was still at DHS. It was always one of my favorites. Osborne Lights!
LOVED, and MISS them!!!!
Tom Connolly yess plus Epcot’s lights
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride
jbcmix That was always one of my favorites.
jbcmix Yes I wanted to go on it so bad and then I realized it closed
I can't imagine a Magic Kingdom night without the electrical parade... hopefully they replace it with another night parade soon.
The attractions that I would like to see return are The Osborne Family Lights, Skyleidoscope at Epcot, World of Motion, Horizons, the original Journey to Imitation, the Riverboat Ride at Animal Kingdom and the Skyway gondola ride at Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately I'm sure they're all gone forever.
that's why it's called extinct which means they didn't comeback
I would like to see Alien Encounter return. That ride was infinitely better than Stitches Great Escape...
Would've worked better at EPCOT or Hollywood Studios
I think it would be a great way to re-boost the new Tomorrowland to bring that ride back, even with a few more modern effects (smoother animatronics, etc). I still love the dark rides as an adult, and having a dark ride that is leaning more toward the teen / adult audience would be super fun!
Was just about to say it would go well at DHS.
People still end up getting off of the ride early still to this day... for it being too scary (it's in a critical point where if they raise the height limit any they end up making the ride infeasible to continue to operate given that it would at that point the height restriction would make it to the point where they would be unable to hold any audience with the target audience)

20,000 Leagues under the sea, Alien Encounter, The Skyway
Mannequins and 8 Trax are my most missed.
I always enjoyed the back lot tour.
I loved World of Motion. In 1984 Epcot Center was so amazing to my child's eye. I'd definitely like to see original Journey into the Imagination too - miss that, hate the new version.

Moonlight Motel yesss
Spectromagic was the best! Hoping for a Spectromagic 2.0 for the 50th~~~
"It's fun to be free / To be on the move..." Loved HORIZONS!
The 3 of you need to do a Vlog and go to EDC Orlando in November! For those who don't know, it's a basically a rave held outdoors for 2 days. Ryno did say he wanted to dance!
Also, I agree with the person that wanted the parade at Epcot at night brought back.

Agree with Steve - keep EPCOT real and educational. Frozen should be moved to DHS. Make DHS about movies.
I agree, but I think Magic Kingdom's a better place for it. Plus they've already got the Frozen sing a long in DHS.
Yes. I am Norwegian so taking away that ride and replacing it was awful.
SPECTRO FREAKIN' MAGIC!!
Osborne lights!
I would like to see Steve brought back as a cast member. Maybe doing the Hoedown Happening or maybe a Dumbo operator because of the costume.
My wife dug her nails into me on Alien Encounter, begging to be let out. That was a great ride. Two that I would have liked to see stay were Lights, Motors Action and the Backlot Tour. I would love it if they brought back cranium command and body wars or at least the absolute minimum do something anything with the wol pavilion
RememberRobbyKrieger they are using it again
I would like to see the little touches like push the trash can hidden paint brushes on Tom sawyers island
Journey into Imagination was great - my daughter still remembers meeting the Prof and Figment outside after the ride.
Yes. I have a picture of my son talking to Figment and Dreamfinder!
I agree, I wish there was more night life - I miss Pleasure Island. I loved the Adventurers Club.
The correct answer is the Adventurer's Club :)
RIP Spectromagic
Spectro yesss! *sobs*
They should make a park a land thats called Land of forgotten Rides and the best rides that have been taken out can be put on it.
I remember (kind of) some great times at Mannequins, as well! The dancing, the rotating floor, those tall, green drinks...the Frankensomething.
Legacy Fast Pass!!! and Single Rider Lines!!!! And the other 1/2 of Hollywood Studios
20 Thousand Leagues, and The Back Lot Tour.
Pleasure island was awesome back in the days.. The night clubs, The stage shows and restaurants.Maniques was my favorite night club.Thr rotating floor was pretty cool !!!
Yes my grandma loves spectromagic is well
alien encounter was my favorite ride for a long time. i was a scaredy cat with certain things but i loved it. was so fun
Original Journey into Imagination with the Dreamfinder. I loved that ride.
Yes, SOOOOOO miss more of Figment - and the Dream FInder! Used to love the meet and and greet they had in the gardens outside. And the Imagination Playground upstairs, where the DVC Lounge is now!
Would love to see a Paint the Night type parade to come to WDW.
Atlantic Dance Hall as a swing dance club. The theming is already there. It should not be a top 40 dance place.
I'm sitting here like if Ryno doesn't say Alien Encounter first I've misjudged his character. THANK YOU RYNO
Thanks Steve my number one to
Please bring back the scary Snow White ride from 1971 and the original soaring over California which is better than new one. I rather smell oranges than dirt.
NICE SHIRT CRAIG!!! GO PENS!!!!
