Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor on Vuokko Nurmesniemi

Alexis Taylor is the co-founder of the legendary Hot Chip, a band he formed at school with his friend Joe Goddard.
Hot Chip have achieved incredible success with Grammy and Mercury nominations as well as six incredible albums.
Alexis has also released two albums with his side project About Group and another three as a solo artist; his fourth - Beautiful Thing - drops this month.
It's the first time Alexis has made a solo album with a producer - none other than Tim Goldsworthy, the co-founder of Mo Wax and DFA Recordings, and member of UNKLE.
There is a strong visual element across his career with an immaculate attention to detail and today we're talking about a designer who Alexis is obsessed with: Finnish-born Vuokko Nurmesniemi , the creator of Marimekko's iconic Jokapoika shirt.
