My definition of closeness is not about being able to talk to someone everyday, because ndiyafana no sis akekho umntu endithetha naye everyday and I’m pretty close to my brother and best friend. It’s just my personality cannot do everyday conversation. My definition then of closeness is being able to speak to someone about anything, the hard conversations, the easy ones, my joys and sadness. It’s knowing ba I have that safe place even if I don’t make use of it but that’s on me.
