It has been to long since we touched base on the Low Rider ST so we took a trip up north to check out Airtrix and their progress on ST. It's a must when you are up in the Santa Barbra area to check out Cold Springs Tavern which has been there since 1868 and serves traditional American Food. Juan opted for his Dyna while Lance takes his Road Glide CVO out for a much needed cruise. Oh yea and we have stopped for some tacos on the way back!
What is now the Cold Spring Tavern began operating as a stagecoach stop in 1868. The original structure is believed to have been built in 1860 and included the Long Room, RV Room and Kitchen. Ownership of the Tavern during the early years is not well documented. Records indicate the Doulton family purchased 160 acres, including the Tavern, for $10 in 1900. The Doulton’s transferred ownership in 1907 to the Miramar Corporation, which went bankrupt and lost the mortgage in 1934. Caretakers, Mr. and Mrs. Green, oversaw the property until early 1941. Wayne and Joy Ovington Wilson, third generation and current owners, take pride in maintaining the Tavern in its historical state.
They serve traditional American fare made with fresh local ingredients accompanied by their famous home-baked molasses bread. Dinners feature game inspired entrees, steaks, and ribs and are enjoyed by the glimmer of gas lanterns. Lunch is more casual and includes the famous Cold Spring Chili among other soups, sandwiches, and salads. They also serve a hearty breakfast with home-made biscuits on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Weekends at the Cold Spring Tavern are special. They start with entertainment in the Log Cabin Bar on Friday evenings. On Saturday and Sunday they serve the famous tri-tip barbeque sandwiches and beer-battered onion rings outside. Motorcycle enthusiast love to come up and enjoy the great music of local bands, food, drink, and fresh air. It is a weekly tradition for many.

I remember my painter talked about adding matte black to my dyna. I HATE matte black. I told her to just do her thing though and I'm so glad I trusted her. So many times I wanted to call to push the bike in a different direction but I let her do her thing and the bike is better than I could've imagined.

Cold Springs Tavern is always awesome, we ride up there a couple times a year from Riverside just to hit that place. In the summer they grill the tri tip sandwiches outside, they're always so damn good, and huge. If you walk away hungry there, it's your own fault. Great video as always guys!

Hi Lance and Juan, I just want to say you guys are crazy amazing! Your business skills, bike skills, great variety on your blogs of your trips, all the people you meet, famous taco runs, and working on bikes, even fabricating parts blows me away! Your vlogs are my favorite out of all biker vlogs so I watch yours every day. I am not a biker but love all your content! I also wanted to comment on your gold medal awards in one of your vlogs showcasing your incredible talent in your early career Lance. And Juan is such a talented engineer. Once again, YOU GUYS definitely give me something that I look forward to watching after hours. You guys are inspiring and definitely making me jealous with the weather that you guys have in your neck of the woods Here in Utah we are supposed to get 6 to 12 inches of snow tonight and nothing above 50° for the next two weeks. Keep it going and looking forward to the next VLOG.

The Daytona loop is the only “ride”… or there’s the straight ride out to the cabbage patch. Daytona’s more of a party scene on Main St or out at the Saloons (Broken Spoke or Iron Horse). Iron Horse has bomb sirloin tips.

Head north out of Daytona up A1A towards Flagler Beach and ride what is called “The Loop”guys. You will love it. Ask around they will tell you where to make the left heading north. It is the best ride down there imho. Like you’re videos 👍

Headed down the 1st to Jacksonville then i will be in Daytona from the 4th-9th. Definitely need to link up and ride to St.Augustine, FL. It’s the oldest town in America. Definitely should be a good ride on the A1A. Plenty of food and coffee along the way. There are some great performance shows going on in Daytona this year. The V-Twin Visionary tour is the 4th, Hardcore Cycles Performance Show is the 5th, Performance Hangover show is the 6th in Palm Bay south of Daytona. Hope to see you guys down south! LETS GO!

Carhartt fleece lined pants and thermal bottoms help me with the cold. Gonna go have to check that place out, just went to the Ojai deer lodge a few weeks ago.
