By the way, as a former builder - your concrete work is as professional as I have ever seen it. I wish I could have used you with all my concrete. Thanks for being a family man too! I’m praying for you all! Blessings! Philip Floyd
Who’d of thought I’d be watching videos of pouring concrete every day and enjoying it. It’s rewarding to watch and see the finished product. Great work as usual guys. 🇺🇸
You and your crew work at some of the most beautiful homes. Your creativity with the concrete, just adds a another dimension to the landscape around the homes.
What I really like is the look of the wood planking of other places that have been done. Broomed concrete is nice and then the stamping turns out beautiful too as well. You guys rock!
I saw the great job you did for Mike Morgan and I’m glad I did. I wish you were in the Chicago area as I need a no walkway but now I know what to ask for when I find a good contractor. Nice Job!
Well, another great job done and and I like the color of the concrete. It makes the pool really stand out and as always you and your crew did a great job and I know the homeowner is very pleased.
I'm way late to get a t-shirt, it wouldn't fit anyway. I'm Keith in Hickory NC, been loyal to Mike Morgan for at least two years. When he introduced me to you, I thought, yeah sure, concrete? Boring. Man I was wrong! I've lived a sheltered life i guess, i really had no idea this could be so interesting. I watched your son earlier on his new property working on his road. Just so you know, I'm subscribed and plan on staying w you for a ling time! I've learned a lot and am anxious to see, learn more! Very good channel! Loved this video! Just great!👍🚜❤
The Shawshank Redemption - my husband and I are really enjoying your channel and getting lots of great ideas on the concrete stamping, but we wish you weren’t so far away from TN 😃
Shawshank, one of my favourite movies of all time, right up there with The Green mile. i’ve watched it so many times my wife gives me the “look” when i speak the lines as they say them. 😂 great job
I was so quick to hopefully win a t-shirt I didn’t have a chance to comment on the really nice work you do. I can’t wait to see the final results ❤ Bob from Phoenix I think concrete sets so fast here the workers have to work at night this time of year.
The whole property and concrete is beautiful. IF, (notice,IF), it were mine , I would have had the pool either built 10 feet more away from that steep hillside, or turned the other direction, since theres plenty of more level ground behind the pool.. I would be concerned about that hillside setting over the years. Especially since its only been 3 years since being built, and now with all the weight on top, and so close to the edge. Just imagine that for a second. Theres no reason for it to be built so close, when the back yard is so large.
Tom, I’m from Northern Lower Michigan, Petoskey/Harbor Springs area. What’s the cost per yard of 4000 psi concrete in your area? Just had my small front porch poured. Wish I had done that rolled slate finish. Yea have a great channel. I’m a retired Builder Senior Chief, Navy Seabee. Love everything construction.
Absolutely beautiful property. How do you protect your previous pool deck pour from stains from the new pour? Just curious. I'm a d,i,y, guy. Only because I cant afford to pay others. I did my own sidewalk. But definitely not like your! Your company does superb work.
Great video Tom as always, I noticed on the diving board it’s bolted to the pad , when they poured my pad with diving board they poured another 24 by24 by 24 deep footing with the bolts that come through the pad for the diving board to bolt through is that just the town code for here ?
Just for my own education purpose, I noticed that; the concrete layer is less than 4" of thickness, would it be better to add more metal bars to avoid the cracking?
Question: When you send back the extra concrete what does the mixing company do with it? PS: I like the diamonds you put in the control joints. Could you explain the purpose of the diamond shapes.
Typically concrete will crack at the weakest point, which is usually the corners (below windows in foundation walls). So knowing it WILL crack you give it somewhere to go that's as aesthetically pleasing as possible. The way these guys cut wings into the flares at the ends of driveways makes my heart sing as well. They are weak points also so you preempt a possible crack that will look terrible with a nicely placed diamond, as you call them. I have never seen tool cuts as well thought out as these guys do in Canada.
The Shawshank Redemption. Do you have to do any extra grounding like you did around the border of the pool? I know y'all live in the Beverly Hills of Pa. Do you use a leaf blower of some kind to clean the saw cuts and clean the house or windows at the same time?
So Tom, I have a question about the Radiant Flooring you did at MIKE MORGAN'S place. Does the heat have any long term negative effects on the Concrete??? Just wondering since radiant Flooring is unnecessary in Texas!!! and you and your crew do a great job! Thanks!
We have hydronic in-floor heating in concrete. The temperature of the heated floor is kept at normal room temperature. It seems very unlikely the heat would ever affect the concrete.
Tom, looks god. You guys make it look easy. Do you pin the coping and use that foam there, too ? Ever use deckoseal ? We did..... back a long time ago when I built pools.
Really enjoy your videos, ... Your sound is not coming through very strong and we pump up the volume. Also might be smart to get your own unique video opening than using the Morgans)...just sayin'

It's a pleasure watching a professional company, no cutting corners, excellent to watch.
it is so nice to see honor and integrity in a business today.

That house and driveway are ridiculous! Beautifully built and landscaped! If that driveway doesn’t showcase your work I don’t know what does!
Thumbs up to Barrington Homes! I worked for them years back when Art was still there. Yes they do one of the best Homes in the area!
beautiful work....as usual. Thanks Tom and crew for your efforts. I am a fan!
I really enjoy you video, keep them coming please! Concrete work is the best!💪🔨🙏
So impressed. Thanks for sharing!
I am so proud of you and your sons working together! And Jim, what a work horse! Great team.
Loved the tour of the work you did on the home 3 years ago. Not a single crack! Great work!
Every job you do must be giving you a great feeling of pride. I can see why you are getting those top end jobs.
What I really like is the look of the wood planking of other places that have been done. Broomed concrete is nice and then the stamping turns out beautiful too as well. You guys rock!
You and your crew do great and beautiful work.
Shawshank Redemption - my husband loves watching your concrete work and we wish you lived closer to us!

Nice Job!
Great video Tom. Simply amazing what you can do with concrete.

Love Shawshank. If you were pouring inside an enclosed space where you couldn’t use bull float handles would you just use the mats?
Shawshank Redemption... Coming into tshirt season down here in Australia :)
Great job
Since you wait longer for cutting, is there any reason why a little water isn't use to help keep the dust down?

That driveway and pool work came out great. How would you compare the results for a roller stamp vs a mat stamp?
Very similar
From dirt to the Backyard Paradise!!! Size XXXL

How many guys fell in the pool? I was nervous watching.

Tom, looks god. You guys make it look easy.
Do you pin the coping and use that foam there, too ?

We have not use foam in a long time either rubber or aluminum

Why don't you cut the joints by hand ? Just curious....i think it looks better than a saw cut
