@The Stranger Ya man just seems like some people will look for the littlest thing to knit pick, obviously there is always room for improvement but if you put yourself in his situation for one minute and think about the amount of pressure that was on him you would quickly realize that he did awesome on his first live broadcast. Yo many people comparing Riley to Wade, Wade is another stand out but I truly believe that Riley has more knowledge in the sweet science which will show over time

First off congrats on commenting! Finally, you truly deserve it. Now Papi vs Taylor is a banger! In the Papi Brueckner bout, Josh didn't know how to fight a Southpaw, maybe Anthony does? We don't exactly know. Imo Taylor should box early try to frame on Papi's lead hand & and smother as much early and work the body specifically the liver side.
For Salt well it's simple, just create and maintain range, set up the check hook, the uppercut (the main shot). Also if he does get mid or close range Papi could counter, clinch & reset, smother and turn him around (if near the ropes). But I got Salt Papi.
Yup I got Papi too, all it will take is one of Papi’s dynamite counter left hooks and Taylor is going down, Taylor has proven that he has an iron chin but it’s the shots that you don’t see that really hurt, the only chance Taylor has is if he somehow gets Papi’s respect early and somehow makes him fight hesitant, that with a combination of a solid peak a boo style and just maybe he has a chance but highly doubtful

Anthony’s gonna be salt papi ‘s toughest test for sure, but if salt can get the knockout that’s a statement imo because that’s something both Tommy fury and idris Virgo couldn’t do
styles make fights. salt papi is also southpaw so every combo/set up will be different

Part of the game plan from Salt Papi should be to lay traps but dig to the body. AT will spend most of his time trying to get in with the jab and to throw hooks in the pocket. But AT has shown he has cardio issues so getting him labored, picking shots while framing, staying on the outside, and countering seems like the plan. Just overall to box. AT is tough though so if it goes the distance than I wouldn’t be surprised, but if Salt Papi flatlines him and does what Virgo couldn’t then sheesh
If salt papi manages to KO AT when undefeated pro boxers couldn't, then Salt Papi is actually legit and should be put against the best yt boxers only or actual fighters
Salt is a technical boxer, by he hasn't been tested yet. That says a lot about his boxing skills.

Let’s be honest… salt papi hasn’t fought anyone yet so we will see him against a tough opponent here but AT doesn’t have much skill but he does have ring/octagon and big light experience so that’s going to be a good test but I think SP will win this. If he goes out and sleeps AT then that will be a big statement

Anthony Taylor’s only way to win this fight is to clinch, do some inside work (body shots, uppercut), and when they break up from the clinch attack Salt Papi immediately. If Anthony can’t do that Salt Papi will beat him by counter punches, simple as that.

The salt papi vs idris virgo didn't make any sense to me but this one is good matchmaking by misfits. It's a winnable fight for both honestly. Taylor's avenue of victory is to use that constant forward pressure w/ a high guard and high output of punches to try and break salt papi down. Dont make it a technical fight use dirty boxing on the inside holding clinching to wear salt papis arms out. We haven't seen salt papis durability/stamina tested yet. As for salt strategy he has to do the opposite.. hit and move draw him in and time him coming in with counters and 3 punch combinations and get out of there. Salt papi is an efficient minimal exertion fighter but in this one he's gonna have to move his feet. His conditioning has to be on point bc taylor durability is outstanding and if virgo couldn't get him out of there I highly doubt salt papi can. Should be a very good entertaining fight that goes the distance. Papi via decision.

I think this is really important for Salt Papi's standing if he beats Antony Taylor better than Idris Virgo, if he is able to the get the TKO / KO against Taylor, he's the best in this influencer scene hands down. If he performs at the level of a novice professional boxer.
How does that make him BETTER? Because they couldn't stop him so automatically there just better? Ok let's say Pineda or Temperr stop AT would that make them better or level above someone like Idris?
