Hello Good Morning to you all, thank you for your comments, I will endeavour to reply over the next few days after these night shifts pass 🥰I always appreciate your views likes, comments and feedback. It’s currently heavy rain and sleet here now, I’m so pleased that I made the most of the beautiful snow in the Peaks yesterday. Have a lovely day ATB SoloSarah 🛌
You can't do it all... never a truer word spoken. "Don't live life under pressure, live to your means and make as much time for hobbies/family time/holidays as possible" Those were the words of my gran, words that ring in my ears til this day. Another brilliant video and thanks for giving me another go to channel when I get home, the perfect way to wind down ☺ You deserve loads more subs, your content is as good as anything on here. As they say, it's not quantity, it's quality and you definitely give us quality viewing 👍
Thank you so much for your kind feedback Paul. I really wouldn’t care if I still had 100 subs as I feel I have reached out to an audience who appreciate what I do because they either love it themselves, want to do it or just enjoy form afar. It’s not my aim to have thousands of people watching rather just 10 people who I can connect with on a level that’s deeper than that of any click bait title. Some of the best videos I watch have a few hundred subs but they have something that no one else has and thats to be uniquely themselves ☺️✨
Another great video Sarah! The new iPhone 16 Max Pro phone camera is certainly doing the business, though the cinematic mode does blur the background when you are moving. Love the snowman ❤ Take care…
A great chat and hike in the snow Sarah, it's brilliant to just sit and listen to what's going in in your head. The Peak District is a beautiful place, and your passion and love of the place shines out like a beacon.
Even at the age of 62 I still love the snow of seeing where birds have walked and cobwebs all icy and beautiful. Love it when your video,s do pop up, it gave me a smile I haven't a clue how you edit and put added stuff in but it's very clever😊
Glad you enjoyed it 😊I was following tacks around for ages up here then all of a sudden I saw what I thought was. A mouse 🐭 but it was a shrew, wondering around looking for food. Couldn’t keep my eyes off him ❤ATB see you on the next one, Sarah
Hi Sarah! Thanks for another personal and thoughtful video! You want opinions on what we think about Cinematic Mode vs Normal Mode. I think that although you are very beautiful, I also want to follow the nature in the background when you walk and talk to the viewer and then I want it to be sharp as well. I have also noticed that some UA-camrs post videos with 2160p (4K) resolution, it would enhance your videos even more. Now I don't film myself so I don't know if it increases the editing times or if it makes it more difficult in some way (?), but at least now you have the mobile phone for that. Thanks again Sarah, Roffe
Hi Sarah and yes you picked a perfect day to be up there, cold but lovely sun and blue skies, and your new phone certainly provides great video. Being older I was brought up on cameras and have always fimed with a variety of cameras, but I do have a Iphone 12 like your old one and I find myself using it more and more to film, I,am amazed at the clarity and detail it provides and the ease of use, being able to see that you are in the frame etc when filming, so who knows whet I might buy next, I,am slowly being converted to modern technology. As for the log book I would love to act as custodian to a book of so many memories, several pages left so perhaps next year, see how many visitors we have over winter. Can fully understand how work comes first and sort of dominates our lives, although I,ve camped one way or the other most of my life I did,nt do it seriously until I retired, work and young children took all my spare time as it should. Look forward to seeing you on you next video, whenever it maybe.........Pat
Hiya Pat 🤩 just in from nights as the big working wheel revolves another 12 hrs forward…thank you for watching and taking the time to comment. The weather was perfect wasn’t it? I always seem to get lucky with it up there as I was thinking how the conditions were yesterda so different yesterday. Driving rain and mild temps will have washed Mr Patrick the snowman away in a flash 🥹 The log book will remain a little longer I am sure as there will be more entries before the year is out. What a year of adventure it has been for both of us. Enjoy your next escapade and I’ll see ya on the next camp ⛺️ 🥶 Sarah
Great images in the video. The new phone has made a real difference. Bit of a change to get snow in November. I live on the edge of Sheffield just below where you were and it was absolutely freezing out walking. Not sure I would like to camp. Thanks for getting out and filming.
@@gritstoneedge hey 👋🏻 thank you for watching 😊 we are certainly lucky living on the outskirts of Sheffield. I can see the moors from home so I’m able to get up there fairly quickly when it calls. Camps are so different as the tent keeps the elements off and warm gear makes you settle as if at home 🏠
Ah great to see you back out Sarah up there for some therapy 😊 it’s been Baltic today & the roads have been so icy this morning! Thanks for sharing Take care lass Dave.
Thanks Dave 😊those roads have been particularly treacherous of late but then we blink And it’s gone! All well, until next time, hopefully I’ll be coming in the white stuff soon ⛺️
Excellent video quality from that iphone. Looks a really good choice. I have a gopro but I'm starting to find it limiting in whati can film. And wow the moors look superb in that snow. I'm still stuck in working on the house but hoping to get out next week. ATB, Roger
Thank you for watching Roger ☺️ I know those house renovations of yours will be coming in great. Mine are going well. New flooring in the hall and lounge tomorrow. I’m so excited 🤩 those things we work so hard to get right to enjoy later, it’s all worth it when I come home from a cold day out in the moors and have warm feet, hot coffee and a log fire. I’m very lucky for that. Hope you find time to camp, hike, film 🎥 soon ATB, Sarah
The snowman looks like the new beard-free Messner! What a nice day you had there, I'd hoped to do a walk this morning as the forecast was pretty good... unfortunately the reality was a massive hail storm! So I went to Costco instead.
Hi, I just wanted to say that I've just recently subscribed but I've watched many of your videos and I think you're absolutely ace. I work in the community too and the outdoors is my breathing space. 😊 Keep doing what you're doing

Absolutely beautiful! What a real treat to have a catch up with you 😊. The quality of your video was awesome and those zoomed in pictures were incredibly clear 👌. How lucky that Terry left you a tea bag and some milk (that has to be luck). Glad to see that people are looking after that special, special place that holds so many different memories for every individual that has visited. Thankyou for taking us out and sharing your beautiful playground, covered in a winter wonderland ✨️ especially as we may never get the opportunity to visit that spot in those conditions. The music was beautiful, I recognised that and it almost set me off 😢 and as for Mr snowman ⛄️ he was gorgeous and sat beautifully on the sit rock. ❤️
Hi Sadie 👋🏻 it was lovely to sit there and reminisce about our walk with the Soulo and drone. I sit there in silence and smile at those memories with fondness…I’ve always wanted to visit in the snow and as I sat there in my bowl of blue I could see the weather was just about holding out, icy cold with the brightest sunshine and moon right over my head as I drank Terry’s offering of hot tea. I felt like I was meant to be there and enjoy that moment before the weather drowned it out for 2 days of clag and heavy rain. What a joy it was to edit the scenery in HD 🪄 see ya ont’ next un guys xxxx
