Nice job on the spinnerbait. They work great this time of year. I would have probably gone chatterbait first. I like that one a lot more. I've seen the Colorado blade work wonders. It's tough when things don't run true, but can't argue with the result.
I've tried breaking down a pond like this in nc and everytime I have no luck at all and I've tried tons of different lures in different colors and can't seem to hook into anything I can catch bluegills all day in worms and small live bait but no bass

Its not talked about as much, but I have had some great success with those flashy swimmers and a paddletail. Killer when you see them busting.

Try a bluegill color chatterbait with a blue and red pearl color trailer. 1/2 oz jackhammer is my favorite
