- We’re back on it boys !!! Ready to get in those spring woods taking it all in but before we do we need to get this rusty old shotgun back to tip top shape. We picked up an ol mossy 835 ulti-mag from our local pawn shop. Follow the journey as we get this old war horse tuned up, replace some old parts, new paint job the whole 9 yards ! Correction in the intro guys gun was verified through Mossberg that the original manufacture date was October 2000
I will now be using the term “Mach Jesus” as often as possible. 😂
Also, you have the option of bluing the bolt if you don’t want to paint or dip it. I did this to an old Winchester 120 Ranger pump I had years ago and it worked perfectly.
It's easy to add a sling mount to a wooden stock. Looks great!

You and the wife did great partner ship. I'm going to pawn shop now instead of new all the time. You are still under cost of new and looks awesome. Last year I picked up an 835 Ulti mag turkey/ deer combo. Now I'm shopping for Beretta 1301 pawn hopefully 👍 great video, very encouraging..

Looks really good. You can put some gun bluing on that bolt to match your 510. That's what they do at the factory.
I thought about it but for now gonna leave the “worn out” look

What’s up man no worries at all ! I did a whole series on the 510 here on the channel. It takes the same threads as the Stevens 301. Invector ( not invector + ) and Winchoke works
