Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is the biggest Pulsar ever. Equipped with a powerful engine, the Pulsar also claims to be an economical everyday performance bike. With a claimed fuel efficiency of 28.5 kmpl, we decided to test the biggest-ever Pulsar to know how real are these figures. Encountering the traffic from Pune city, then enjoying the twisty ghat roads towards Pawna lake, and further ending our city & highway ride on the uphills of Lonavala, the fuel efficiency we got is shocking. Relax guys very very sorry to say in this test there was a little overweight with full on stress on bike. My ns gives 40-45 on sane driving in city on highway many won't believe at 60-65 6th gear constant calmed riding it touches 50kmpl

Exactly, even my heavy i20 gives 22 if kept at 80 on highways. All our modern cars are going towards 25-30 on mileage and our modern bikes are dropping to the same levels from 30 to 40

23 kmpl Mileage for 373 CC bike is too less. Himalayan 450 gives minimum 30 kmpl im city conditions and 35 in highways.

Some facts about the testing conditions:
1) Temperature was 47°C during the shoot.
2) No intention to churn out fuel economy hence high revs and redline upshifts were throughout the ride.
3) Only 20% of the total ride included highway riding. The major part included single lane roads, ghats, steep uphills, and a lot of performance oriented video shots (fast fly bys).
