Amazing Video! This made me buy an HP Smart Tank 7305. This video had a lot of information and they were delivered in 4 minutes! the only thing I'd wish more is for it to be longer 😅 Thank you so much!
I've recently bought an HP 7305 and can't find replacement ink bottles on Amazon.. Can you please advise the best place to buy them. Thank you. Loved thee demonstration and information.
@@TechBytesWithLorenHi, before purchasing I would like to know if the HP Smart Tank 7005 printer has some sort of way to replace or do some maintenance on the ink waste pads or whatever the name of those things are. For example, Epson printers have a replaceable maintenance box that costs arround 15-20 dollars and you need to replace it when it's full. The pads i'm talking about are the ones that exist to soak up the ink the printers eject to performance a nozzle clean cycle and the like. Thank you!
@anyone8318 hey there, you should be able to contact the HP Print team support and they will be able to help should the need arise. Their contact details are on the HP website, they send out individual things based on needs under warranty
Hi there, the recommended paper weight for this printer is 60 to 105 g/m². If you can find out the weight of the cardstock, fingers crossed it works to those requirements
Nice, straight-forward review! I am still undecided between the 6001, 7301e, and 7602. What are some of the main differences? I'm a graduate student, so I will be mostly using it to print off hundreds of pages of journal articles, PowerPoint slides, and other papers and projects for school, but I'm also a mom looking for a good family printer that prints good photos, as well.
They all offer the same ink capacity, the monthly page volume increases as you go up. This printer isn’t designed for photos but it can be done. I would be bias to suggest the Envy Inspire for photos. But for school, the 7301 could be the way to go.
Hey there, you can photo copy through the Automatic Document feeder or the flat bed. The printer has built in tutorials if you need assistance. I haven't personally created any videos on how to I'm sorry
From what I've been told, HP smart tank printers don't require a sponge. If there are any issues with clogging please reach out to the retailer or contact HP support as it may have a fault
Thank you for the review! Could you please let me know if the HP Smart Tank 7605 ink doesn't dry out? Perhaps it has a regular maintenance cycle to prevent ink drying? Thank you!
Hey there Mohd, this one I have is the Smart Tank 7600 series but there is also a 7300 series. Depending on your country there may be a change in number of the model such as 7605. It is still a new series in the market so it may not have come out where you are.
@@dianaridgway9362 Hi there, there are a few ways you can get this printer setup. If you have a smart phone, that would be my best suggestion. This link here might be of use for you: support.hp.com/au-en/printer-setup/hp-smart-tank-7300-series/2100178736/model/2100178910
Hey there, this does allow for multi page scanning through the Automatic document feeder, there is a manual double sided option through the flat bed or auto through the ADF. Thank you very much
Hey there, if this is the printer you have. There are a few options. You can wirelessly print directly from your PC using cloud print. You can connect your PC directly to the printer You can also print the PDF directly from your mobile device using HP Smart app
@@davewebster1627 my apologies Dave, I got my videos confused. This printer works wirelessly, if both devices are connected to the same network your PC shouldn't require any drivers. If you're directly plugged in, it should communicate with your PC. The Printer updates automatically through WiFi
@@TechBytesWithLoren thanks, So I can plug in to the computer USB same as my old printer and the drivers will install I never liked phone apps, if you loose or damage your phone you're in trouble
Following up, initially the printer will not have it activated. You will need to register through the smart app and activate the print from anywhere option in the settings
Hi, thank you a lot for making this video!! I have a questio, where can I find the color printhead? I only could find the monochrome one, but the 6ZA18AE is not compatible with 7000serie (the say that on the web site). And after how many printed pages should I change the printheads? And one last thing... I am a little afraid to buy printers with liquid ink and thermal head technology because I am afraid they will plug up, especially during sudden drops or rises in ambient temperature, does this printer suffer from this problem? I really hope you can take the time to read this message and give me an answer. Thank you so much. P.S. I'm italian, and I'm watching your video from Italy :)
Hey there, it's my pleasure. Generally with HP consumer printers you shouldn't need to replace the print head. If there is an issue, I would suggest reaching out to the print support team on the HP Print website
@@TechBytesWithLoren COMPLETE BS. printers should absolutely need to replace printheads. they get worn and they will fail. it's the thing that makes contact with the paper. that's what it prints. obviously doesn't last forever. I've replaced many of them.
With these consumer printers, the HP support team are who people will need to contact to determine what needs to happen. Generally the support team will provide a solution rather than buying a printer head
I'm not 100% certain, generally HP printers within the same family don't have a better or worse. It's more down to the users needs. I would recommend checking what you need prior to purchasing
How can I make 8 copies of a document under the lid using an HP InkTank 5100 printer without pressing the print button multiple times. The user manual is awful. No info...
I would advise using the Scan to PDF using the HP Smart App, this way you can put all the documents through together quickly. There is Manual Duplex Scanning on the printer but it can be slower.
you know HP is the most hated brand due to it forced subscription to printer inks to use even use a brand new out of the box printer with new ink and that no function on multi printer will work unless there is ink in the printer. sorry if you run out of ink you can scan anything
Hey Elizabeth, there are ink bottles to top this one up. It doesn’t use ink cartridges. It does however have printer heads that you might be thinking are cartridges
Thanks for getting back to me on the Printheads. I had never encountered separately packaged ink printheads, so this is new. CB.
Very informative video, and the answers you gave in the comments are even more informative ! Thank you for your work.

Can it print on 110lb cardstock? I’m trying to ask someone that’s tried it so I don’t mess up my new printer.

Does the ink dry quickly when doing double sided printing?
Yes it does, I have had no issues with double sided printing

Are the two packaged Printheads replacement or originals? This was not clarified in the presentation. Thanks in advance for the explanation. CB.
Hey there, these are originals that come in the box.
Thanks for the video! Do you know if 7305 can connect to WiFi Modem?

What about the sponge that collects excess ink during cleaning? Can it be replaced (like the one in the Canon Maxify series)?
From what I've been told, HP smart tank printers don't require a sponge. If there are any issues with clogging please reach out to the retailer or contact HP support as it may have a fault
@@TechBytesWithLoren stop lying and saying bs. yes they do require and they do have a sponge. all inkjet printers do.

yes. inkjet printer inks can always dry. it's ink it's a liquid, it will dry. just print once every 15 days to make sure you don't ruin it.

is this good if you don't print a lot?
It is not suitable and the ink will dry in the printer heads, so I do not recommend it if you do not use the printer constantly
Hi, does the printer (7305 or 7605) have the option to scan to a network folder, when scanning directly from the printer? to a pdf file?
You can absolutely do that using the HP Smart app through the printer or the app itself
