    The cracks were interesting. Maybe suggest not bare handing the pyrotechnics until they've like cooled. Obviously there was oxygen starvation in the neck of the bulb.

      Safety is good. I've played with fireworks enough to have a fairly accurate sense of when I can and can't touch something/how to avoid burning my self if something isn't done. Extra caution wouldn't have hurt.
      The launch platform was I believe a VT-73 cage...The correct cage for the VT-71 should have square corners and be 2 pieces of metal instead of the single stamping one from the VT-73.
      So yeah the HV cage on that chassis was wrong on top of the knob end of the tuner shaft being snapped...That and the CRT made it a good parts set.
