There’s a reason why they added controller support to mobile and that is it’s actually a challenge to play on mobile in the first place. This is why I never play duos, trios, and squads

If you’re good on mobile and you want a challenge then there’s people on pc, and Xbox/PlayStation in pretty much every duo, trio, and squad type game modes that you could vs but just play those modes by yourself. Even then if you don’t want that you could play with someone that is on one of the other platforms

100% Agree with your opinion. My normal solo games goes well until top 5 when I see 4 sweaty soccer skins on switch. Makes no sense at all. Contacted Epic Support multiple times regarding this, however nothing has changed yet. Also, anyone has been experiencing crashes in mid-game or when landing? In my point of view switch should be against switch and mobile against Mobile/iPad/ Tablet and everything and everyone will be happy, just how it was for the past 6 seasons. Hope they change it back in season 9 or next patch! 🙏🙏

Mobile would only play against Mobile _unless_ you choose the "Mixed Platform" lobby option - then you would play in a mixed lobby with other players who had also selected that option. If people like it then Epic could even allow players to select which other platforms they wanted in their lobby.
I’m on switch and I completely agree with this, I never see anybody building, I run into 30x more bots than I did before and I’m tired of getting killed by bots with auto shoot ;)

The exact day I went to grind s8 (I had no clue of what happened in the update) I literally played about 50 games, and at least 20 games died to someone with 20 kills. Yeeeeaaaahh great job epic, ya really messed this one up Edit:oooohhhh shit I just did a test(wasn’t a big one but it showed something) I played 15 squads match and looked at the mobile:switch ratio on teammates. And every single match I got a 50:50 split. Epic is literally mixing 50 switch and 50 mobile players in the same match. So when your soloing squads, one squad is at least 2 switch players. WTH epic Edit2: I did some research, and I found a few comments saying that switch doesn’t have enough players, and they have to add a platform to have enough players for a decent matchmaking system. Well here’s an idea epic, y don’t ya put controller mobiles against switch😂 Last edit: ik nobody will see his but I wanna shed light on when itll be fixed, I emailed a worker asking why, and I went through about 3 different workers. I feel guilty for having a massive advantage over phone players when I'm playing at 60fps high res on the 12.9" screen of my iPad Pro - but at least I am still on a touch screen! I can totally see why playing against Switch is a step too far for many mobile players. I think Epic should let us select whether we play in mixed platform lobbies or not.

The game is much more fun now, and I’m actually improving since it is more challenging to play against kids that can actually build and edit rather than mobile bots that stand still and use autoshoot.

If you are using the pro controller then be put into Xbox and PS4 lobbies. the sticks on joy cons are garbage for shooters and a mobile player can easily outgun the majority of switch players. Not to mention a good amount of phones (and all consoles) can run at 60 FPS where as the switch is constantly at 30fps while dropping frames. So I do agree that a pro controller player shouldn’t be in mobile lobbies but joy con users I don’t see the issue with it.

Changes can be made to make them fit however I doubt they will do something about it. Indicators, 60 FPS, Controller, etc. Currently it’s more beneficial if Switch gets their own lobbies.

It really triggers me because it makes it a lot harder for content creators because I used to get 20 bombs in solos and I’ve improved a lot since then and it took me a couple hours to get 18 kills in solo squads. Even then I would die with 15 players left to a full squad where everyone has 10+ kills and is like insane. It’s a lot harder to crank out good videos. Not trying to flex or anything just sharing my personal experience. Not to mention how much harder it is for people who usually only get like 5 kills.

Noone in the whole entire universe uses autofire anymore because it's super broken, doesnt work with shotguns and smgs will only spray when someone is like right next to you. I feel guilty for having a massive advantage over phone players when I'm playing at 60fps high res on the 12.9" screen of my iPad Pro - but at least I am still on a touch screen! I can totally see why playing against Switch is a step too far for many mobile players. I think Epic should let us select whether we play in mixed platform lobbies or not.
I don’t really care because some switch players aren’t that good (no offense to switch players) and the audio visualizers i think thats what they are called(the things on the screen the shows where people shoot/footprints) are pretty op this is only my opinion so it’s okay if you don’t agree👍

I ABSOLUTELY AGREE, everything you said was spot on!!! It makes ZERO sense to say mobile controllers are in their own lobby but switch players with controllers are in mobile lobbies... if this happened with console players in the same lobbies with pc players there would be so much backlash!

Poost Koloft, I know right? People who complain about switch players in mobile games just need to get good. I play with 4 fingers on my iPad, and I get wins everyday. The game is much more fun now, and I’m actually improving since it is more challenging to play against kids that can actually build and edit rather than mobile bots that stand still and use autoshoot.

I agree and I disagree. Personally I think Mobile and Switch should stay in the same lobby......if you are using joy cons. If you are using the pro controller then be put into Xbox and PS4 lobbies. the sticks on joy cons are garbage for shooters and a mobile player can easily outgun the majority of switch players. Not to mention a good amount of phones (and all consoles) can run at 60 FPS where as the switch is constantly at 30fps while dropping frames. So I do agree that a pro controller player shouldn’t be in mobile lobbies but joy con users I don’t see the issue with it.

Disagree. Switch players shouldn’t be in the same lobbies as mobile players.The average switch player is better than the average mobile player. It’s highly possible to get good with joy cons. Changes can be made to make them fit however I doubt they will do something about it. Indicators, 60 FPS, Controller, etc. Currently it’s more beneficial if Switch gets their own lobbies.

Young_Un mobile players physically can’t compete against switch players with too controllers. Some people don’t want to get really good at the game and fight sweaty switch players. The average player just wants to hop into a game and play for fun against an even playing field :)

I agree with you 100% man. I’m ranked #3 in the world in solos (gonna be outranked in a couple weeks because people are way better) but lobbies have been way tougher compared to before. I wish I had a voice in this but I wouldn’t know where to begin

I’m a switch player and I know I’m good but I feel like ever since they switch matchmaking. I feel like it was people who were on iPad. I say this because this is no way that a switch player would have this much aim and can edit very quickly.

It really triggers me because it makes it a lot harder for content creators because I used to get 20 bombs in solos and I’ve improved a lot since then and it took me a couple hours to get 18 kills in solo squads. Even then I would die with 15 players left to a full squad where everyone has 10+ kills and is like insane. It’s a lot harder to crank out good videos. Not trying to flex or anything just sharing my personal experience. Not to mention how much harder it is for people who usually only get like 5 kills.

Noone in the whole entire universe uses autofire anymore because it's super broken, doesnt work with shotguns and smgs will only spray when someone is like right next to you. With the ar it stops as soon as someone builds a wall and it glitches the gun, not my problem u come running at a default without building anything like a total noob I mean what can u expect from a Nintendo switch player right?
