    Hopefully I can compliment this a little! I'm an Australian PT who's passionate about trying to uncover the root cause of common aches and pains.     why not use an ankle sleeve and avoid the hassle?

      This resists a specific movement of the ankle rather than general as per an ankle sleeve.

      It reduces the strain on a specific muscle (Posterior tibialis) , rather than a group of muscles , and creates stability and support along the arch of your foot
