This makes sense, because if this is all true, the Archons all have demon names as we know. So if the Primordial one is the ruler of all demons, this links with the Archons as well ^^
The most popular theory about Paimon is that she is the diminutive form of the Unknown God, who somehow got tangled up in her traps against the Travelers and seemingly banished herself to Teyvat. If this is the case, Paimon is a small, more innocent version of the Unknown God we saw at the start.
Paimon claims to be "the god of protection," her reasoning being that she considers herself the Traveler's bodyguard. It is jokingly suggested that Paimon has more than one stomach, where one of them specifically contains liquids.
The name “Paimon” is actually the name of a mythological demon king. Her in game abilities match those of this demon king, such as her ability to fly, breathe underwater (we found her underwater while fishing in beginning of game) and her knowledge of Teyvats past.
The definition of Paimon's name: according to texts, in his own form, King Paimon is said to be a human-looking entity who wears a great crown and rides a dromedary. He is preceded by a whole host of ghouls playing trumpets and demons roaring, heralding his arrival. His face is feminine, while his body and persona is masculine.
As a character shrouded in mystery, her age remains one of the game's many secrets. This lack of information doesn't stop the community from theorizing, though. Many fans believe Paimon to be ageless, possibly as old as the universe of Teyvat itself, given her vast knowledge of the world and its history.
[I've done some research about Paimon, and this is what I had found. So essentially, Paimon is the Unknown god. Now, some people may believe that she is just there to help us, aka "Traveller". But we have so much proof that she is connected to the Unknown god, as during the game when Traveller meets one of the characters during a quest (or so I believe, as I have not reached that part yet), she had said "There is no information about this floating little fairy's fate." And proceeded to question if Paimon is actually human. (But it's quite obvious that Paimon is not human, as she floats and if you look when she moves around you see space like particles floating around her body.) We don't have full 100% proof that Paimon is the Unknown God, but we have enough proof to say so. Yet her age is still very much a mystery, but what I'm guessing is that from some research Paimon could very well be as old as Teyvat, or older. (Mind you as we know Zhongli (The Geo Archon, Morax) is around 6000 years), and through some research I discovered that Teyvat could as well be from between 2000 to 6000 years, maybe older. So Zhongli could have possibly been there when Teyvat was being created.) So Paimon could have indeed been there, before Teyvat was made maybe even participated in creating Teyvat.]
Maybe we'll find out the truth some day? Well, I hope that this theory is correct as its a fantastic story-line background.
(Also I am aware that some people believe Paimon is the Primordial One, and that could be the truth considering she is pretty much a mystery, but this is what I believe, if you want me to look more in to it then I will, just comment it.)

Erm Paimon I would love if she’s the true god thingy cus she’s everywhere she knows this information that not a lot of people know her crown is on the logo her face is the picture when you download the app but she isn’t really marking like a lot of people find her annoying so it’s not because people like her she’s important I think either 4 scenarios will happen
1:we will choose between saving Lumine/Aether or Paimon
2:Paimon is primordial one and we fight her
3: Paimon I don’t personally like this theory because there’s not a lot of evidence backing it up but she in unknown god
4:she is got of time or god to treasure which I find a bit boring but I’d be nice

I know that this video is just based on a theory but what about the theory has Zhongli so freaked out about it?
Cause he found that a fallen angel was creator of Teyvat. And it's not like he knows that Paimon is loyalest 'servant' of that fallen angel. I doubt it, since it was not mentioned(in the actual lore), but if he knows something about Paimon he definitely won't be willing to tell us cause of his contracts.

Paimon is one of the kings acording to to it Paimon (also Paimonia, Paymon) is one of the Kings of Hell, more obedient to Lucifer than other kings are, and has two hundred legions of demons under his rule. He has a great voice and roars as soon as he comes, speaking in this manner for a while until the conjurer compels him and then he answers clearly the questions he is asked. When a conjurer invokes this demon he must look towards the northwest, the direction of Paimon's house, and when Paimon appears he must be allowed to ask the conjurer what he wishes and be answered, in order to obtain the same from him.
Paimon teaches all arts, philosophies, and sciences, and secret things; he can reveal all mysteries of the Earth, wind, and water, what the mind is, and where it is, and everything the conjurer wants to know. He gives good familiars, dignities and confirms them, and binds men to the conjurer's will.
If Paimon is cited alone, buffering or sacrifice must be done, and he will accept it, though the precise nature of the gift is unclear; then two kings called Beball (Bebal or Labal) and Abalam (Abalim) will go to him together with other spirits, often twenty-five legions; but these other spirits do not always come unless the conjurer calls upon them.
Paimon is depicted as a man with an effeminate face, wearing a precious crown, and riding a dromedary. Before him often goes a host of demons with the shape of men, playing trumpets, cymbals, and any other sort of musical instrument.
