Point sensor weapons are really solid (good) for Opening Gambit and you can’t go wrong with it most of the time. As for LDE though, I do think it would benefit the kit a lot because now you can use a lot more point sensors, have more ink efficiency for the main, and ink recovery so then it leads to more Tenta missiles which can then lead to more potential assists/splats. It also helps against sharking when you are pushing in, coming back in, and valuable to let your allies know as well. I’d strongly recommend LDE with it because I’ve used the vanilla H3 in S2, and got fairly good results with it even if I’m not a top 500 player.
@@BlueRiptor totally agree. If this weapon wasn't so ink hungry and/or opening gambit helped with frame data, then maybe it would be better than LDE. Alas, not the world we live in.
@@felixa4705 It be like that, I wish the weapon was a bit faster to really help out the weapon. To give some insight for the weapon, H3 wins a lot in the match up because point sensor counters this thing’s approach game, and has an incredibly fast TTK while having more range, and turfing range. It’s one of my favorite weapons to go against because of how favored it is to me in most cases.
I would hold on to the special sometimes rather than use it right away - sometimes instead of hitting 2 enemies who are running back to mid you might’ve been able to get 3-4 closer to the objective
That’s right, in this game I wanted to see how many Tenta Missiles I could get rather than waiting around. Sometimes I do wait for the right moment to use the special and get more mileage out of it.
In the game before this one, I did get 8. While in this one, I got 9. If you want a Tenta Missiles spam weapon, this is probably the weapon to do it with.
In the thumbnail, I realized I put the wrong score. Sorry about that guys, the score is at 6:23.
This feels like an opening gambit candidate. Though I don't think it would benefit as much as it would from LDE.

Gerbil was so giddy that match
Sometimes I get moments like that in the heat of battle.

Only 8 tenta missiles?
