i actually like to go and watch anything rotten tomatoes says its bad, not once in my entire adult life have i been influenced about any movie by what someone else says. it's their opinion.

Agreed. If I listened to all the critics or the online amateur dingbats, who trash almost every movie and tv show that i’m interested in, I’d never be able to watch anything. And there’s actually critics, out there, who think classics like Shawshank Redemption, Jaws and Raiders of the Lost Ark suck. Just think about that for a minute.

Best superhero movies since endgame 100% no doubt about it they knock it out of the park could’ve been a long movie by telling more story about some of the heroes but everything else is just excellent

For as much as I think the rock is a likable guy every single movie he has done has been basic. I’m worried this will be a basic vanilla movie. Action packed and fun sure, but thin with not a lot of depth. 54 might be low but I have a feeling it’s not far off which sucks because black Adam is such a BA character

I get what you are saying but I wish people would stop saying "Rotten tomatoes does this and wants that". Rotten tomatoes isnt a group or a person. It's a collection of data. It's a poll. None of the people who they gather data from or whose blurbs they use work for them. And they don't pick and choose which reviewer to use for each movie depending on which is favorable either.
You are literally more biased than RT is. Hell, you call this a review without having seen it and say people should see it multiple times not knowing how it is yet because you want it to do well. But hey.. It's THEY who have an agenda?
That said, I do agree with you on not judging by what a critic says. A film critic is like a food critic. If my favorite meal is cutting up hot dogs and throwing it in mac and cheese, Then thats my favorite meal. A food critic would be right in saying any resteraunt that served that may not be a 5 star place though. I had a friend who really liked Morbius and asked why it got bad reviews. I said.. Well if you look at it, it was put together pretty sloppily. You could see the bad editing. You had the main character and his friend on a boat where he massacred a lot of people. She KNEW he did. The movie showed that. She then doesn't see him again until after more murders are committed and when they talk about it he says "it wasnt me. I didn't kill anyone" and she believes him. In the script they probably met up in between those scenes and the distinction makes sense. That was bad editing and to a good film critic that would stand out way more than to casual viewer. They pay attention to structure and shit we don't. But a movie that was badly put together can still be fun.
It was so much fun to watch and IMO a great storyline also. No way it deserves the rating it is getting. The audience scores are closer to right
@@DefendersofComics I haven't seen it yet but watch this morning's John Campea show to see what I'm talking about. The host there watched it last night. They say the script wasnt where it should be. The direction bad. Anytime a certain child actor was on screen it was extremely cringy. Lackluster bad guy. They said it was a bad movie but they walked out smiling and will even see it again today. They had a great time. But a critic can't just say it's a guilty pleasure movie. They have to say if the director was good. If the script worked. If the dialog was tight. I think Black Adam is a movie a lot of critics will say "it was fun and I enjoyed it but as a FILM it did a lot wrong"

I don't know if you watch Campea but I completely trust his take. And I only point this out to show why critics and audience disagree. Critics pay more attention to how the film is done not just a reaction
