When trying to record from the arpeggiator I do not get the same result as you do. The notes forming the arp get played back in the sequencer as a chord, do you have any thoughts on why that might be?
Thanks for this simple demo. Unfortunately shift + rec isn't working for me, I don't get the menu and can't hear the metrenome...(i get the st menu instead) any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
@SaturdayMusicMachines id tried that! Updating the firmware fixed it in the end. Thanks again for making the first s1 video I've come across that I could follow, a lot of the others assume I have some idea of what I'm doing (hence the metronome thing was driving me nuts!). :)
@wheelsfalloff Glad to hear you fixed the problem. I'm a beginner myself and still learning, that's why I started making videos mainly aimed at beginners as, like you say, most videos are made by people who know what they are doing, which I find a bit overwhelming. lol
@@SaturdayMusicMachines Finally got one this week. The manual is shockingly bad, and only on-line. I read it, and couldn't for the life of me figure out how to make a tune.

Really great tutorial thank you for creating the video 😊😊
No problem, glad you liked it. 🙏🏻
Legend! I’ll be referring back to this a lot once my S-1 arrives.
No worries, thanks for watching 🙏🏼
This will definitely help me get started.
Great!
This is probably the best tutorial i seen. Thank you 🙏🏾
Thank you. Glad it helped 👍🏻
Man this little synth sounds awesome!
It does! 😁
Nice one great little demo 👍🏻
Thanks! 👍
THANK YOU! so helpful, learned a lot in just 6 minutes!
No worries, thanks for watching 🙏🏻
this was really helpful thanks for posting! This synth is jam packed with features and sounds great. I still have a lot to learn. 😅
No problem. I'm still learning it too. lol
You've been a great help to me, thank you.
You are welcome!
Thanks friend for the answer.
And how can you cancel the point next to the pattern from this situation?
and return to the previous state?
If you mean return to the default pattern, you will have to reload it as far as I know.
Thank you for this tutorial! I bought this machine 2 months ago and haven't a clue how to use it lol.
You are welcome.
Lots of us in the same boat, but it's lots of fun finding out how all the same.
a question ? How to use the Roland S-1 Aira sound. Using a Novation launch key keyboard.
What parameters or settings should be activated in S-1?
Do you mean controlling the s-1 via midi keyboard?
YES BRO@@SaturdayMusicMachines

Hi. I'm afraid I can't help sorry as I no longer have the device.
What does the dot next to the pattern number on the Aira S-1 device mean?
And how can it be canceled?
She locks the patterran's sound.
If a pattern has been edited, a dot lights up on the right side of the display.
You know the waveform knob is the LFO waveform, right, not the main oscillator waveform?
ok...

You have to press play first and then hold shift and press record to activate the metronome 👍🏻

S-1 is a quite powerfull Part in deed.
Sounds great nice one 👍
Thanks ✌️
With what devices did u connect ur s-1?
None yet, lol.
Thinking of getting one of these. Looks quite hard for a novice like me to pick up the varied options.
It's a bit full on that's for sure, but there are plenty of on-line resources to learn how to use it 👍🏻

Great demo. Simple and clear. Up there with the best. Thanks
Thanks very much 👍🏻

Thank you :)
Thank you SO much! 🙏🏻

What on earth are you doing, that is not how an arpeggios should sound…
Explain?
