Your story of being alone in a car in Iceland - first time, first snow/ice driving and more... white-knuckle driving, apprehension and the beautiful magic of raw nature revealed at the same time. I know that feeling when it takes hold of you, when it whispers its powerful draw to you. Enveloped in anxiety and sweetened by deep clarity. Hahaha! You're doomed, my good man! She will be your master now. For which we are all glad, of course!
I had a passion in my early twenties someone that was made to drop me a nice camera but then took it from me I don't want to tell the reason why... Passion was always there. Call my sister took black and white pictures with their camera on the 70s.. even with my simple cameras I capture some wonderful pictures in New Mexico... I'm driving to the Southwest. Some photos came out really nice in Tennessee... Whoever your budget is just do it... I always want my art to be from my own work and to be on my walls.. and to share with people... Make a gift to family...
Thanks a lot for sharing your story with us. I’ve been following you for years now, I purchased some of your stunning photography, and I’m so happy for you that you have the life you dream of !
Thank you for the encouragement and you’re an inspiration. Congratulations for the baby. I just got back from Iceland 2 weeks ago and loved it. Definitely will go back on Winter time. Good luck.
This has got to be a record for how many words you've spoken at one time... 🙂 But honestly, this is such a great story and I am SO happy you shared it! Beautiful.
I find it quite interesting that you are coming from Australia which is a place of really high temperatures and still you fell in love with the artic and cold.
I moved out of Iceland back in 2020 but i seriously regret it and i want to go back asap. Take good care of my island and hopefully see you one day out there.
Your stuff is amazing! I would love to visit Iceland and do some photography but could never live there (too cold for my taste). I would love to be able to travel and do photography and make just enough money to allow me to continue doing it nothing grand. I feel like you have to youtube as well these days to be able to do it as a living. I know you have to be talented as well, which I feel my photos are at a level that I could do it though. Congrats on the upcoming little one though and best wishes.
It’s a beast! Really happy with the quality wide open at f4. I’ve been using it often with a 2x extender which poses more challenges, but once stopped down to f14 or more then the shots look great (provided there’s enough light of course!).
This man Is soo Underrated
Love seeing people follow their passions, keep it up brother!
Appreciate that, thank you!
