wow that is one dramatic card.. yes I too appreciate the imperial measurements as well for us in the USA.. now to try to make this card with current products.. but first I need to rewatch your video.. You are very talented.. thanks so much Teri
Hello from Michigan. I just tried your card. It was challenging but I like the results. I made my picture panels to big and had to figure out how to make the flip paper bigger. It took 4 attempts but the result is so fun! I can’t wait to give to my “Sweet 16” Birthday girl tomorrow! 😊
It is such a fun card to make and to receive. I'm so pleased you were successful with it. Hope your Birthday Girl has a wonderful day today! She will love your card for her! xx
Love your card! Thank you so much for including US measurements, as I've been searching all over UA-cam for a card like this to try, but the others were in centimeters. You don't know how much I appreciate how considerate that was.
Brilliant .... thnx Teri ... I've just made this in real time alongside your video and it was spot on with really clear instructions .... thank you Teri xxx
Teri...love what you do...and love this flip card...is so gorgeous...I had inspiration from your Bonanza Buddies Pop out card...and made some of them for our group card swap...wish I could send you a picture of it...but can not send on youtube...thank you for sharing and giving an old fairy inspiration...cheers from Australia :)
Hi Barbara .. so happy to hear that one of my projects has inspired you! Feel free to email me a photo at teri@stampinmagic.com I would love to see :o) xx
Hi Dan ...The squares that I added all the images to measure …. 2⅜” … obviously the scalloped square they are layered onto are bigger at 2½” - but you don’t need them both if you don’t want them. So you could make your squares either of these sizes and they would still work. Hope that helps!
Hello, brilliant card, but i'm a bit confused. An half A4 size paper is 10.5 x 29.7 cm or about 4 1/8 x 11 6/8. How I find out the cm-mesurements for this flip element?
Hi Jo .... your card base will be ½ a sheet of or your standard size card. So ½ a sheet of A4 or ½ a sheet of 8½" x 11" - these are not the same size. All the cm-measurements are on the Measurement screen at the start of the Video or on my Blog - link in the description. I rarely give scoring measurements in cms - because I use my scoreboard which is in inches. Hope that helps - shout if you need more help xx
@@TeriPocock thank you for the quick answer - but i was looking for the measurments for this flip element. But google translated the measurements 🙂 But i try to change it, cos its too much paper waste. I try to figure out, how i can manage it with 21 cm instead of 21.6cm 😄 Hope you understand what i try to say. My english is horrible😬🥴... sorry😚
I'm not sure which measurements you mean. I don't think you need 21.6cm for anything. For your card base you would cut an A4 sheet in half - so at 10.5cm, score in the middle and fold. Is it the card base you are confused about? Email me at teri@stampinmagic.com and we can sort you out 🙂 xx
Right ... think I've got it! 21.6cm = 8½". You don't need that! Just cut your A4 sheet in half at 10.5cm and that will be your card base. The 8 ½" x 11" measurements are for US and Canada - they have different card sizes to us 🙂 xx And ... your English is fabulous! xx
Ok ... I just checked out my measurement screen. You must be talking about the Flip Mechanism which is 8 ½" long. You could make this 8¼" which is 21cm. It would mean that your Tab Pull circle is anchored onto ¼" section instead of a ½" section which may still work ok - I wouldn't know for sure until I tried it though - but worth a shot if you really don't want to waste any card :o) xxx

You are very welcome! I will always try to give both sets of measurements - I tend to use a mix of both, so can usually work them out either way 😊 x

That's great to know Lizzie! Thank you so much! xx
Your instructions were so clear and this card is absolutely adorable!

Loved this as it doesn't take special dies!
Thank you Mark! I prefer to work without dies for things like this ... it just takes a little time working things out :o) xx
