I’ve never heard of the Bing search engine malfunctioning, but I did hear about something on the twitter platform called “Tay AI” that was intentionally warped by the twitter community to the point where it was a huge fan of one particular German chancellor… I’ve heard some theories that AI (or LLM) which are used for search engines are typically becoming dumber because of all the stupid things people are asking it. Don’t know if this is true, but still worth thinking about
