I use my yard Max for the 1st time yesterday and today the gears are doing the same thing to me hard to shift into sounds like they are grinding sometimes! Everything on it is pretty solid I wish they made the tracks not so off road noby be cause they do more collateral damage to grass then a small boxer 320 Mini skid with nice tracks. Other than that it worked well I hauled 57 Stone and pavers all day and thay little motor held up. Only other thing is it only dumps in Neutral I wish it could dump while going in reverse so it can spread out material better. My next purchase before I get a Mini skit is going to be a Self loading bucket from a company called iron rhino in Georgia. Check them out online it Chinese but it has Honda motor. The self loading wheel barrow price point is $7 k for stand on or $14 k fir larger one but way cheaper than a mini skid
I have the same unit. $2k on sale as I was walking into my local HD down from 4K, bought it immediately. The gear selection issue is annoying. I have the scrapper, not very versatile, but for pushing n leveling maybe. Customer service is basically nonexistent
Hey man I was looking at getting a mini skid steer as I mostly do sod. Obviously if this thing did the trick(just for hauling this Sod from pallet to yard) it would save a lot of money. What would be your thoughts on that?
@@lannycox4931you can buy 4 of these for a fraction of the price of a mini skid. For the same amount, You can have 4 guys with these machines hauling sod back and forth knocking it out super fast, plus plenty of money leftover for a dump trailer, and that STILL won’t add up to the price of a darn skid lol they’re soooo expensive. I’m looking into importing machines from China that are comparable for a fraction of the cost

That’s the plan I want to at least get a 3500 but leaning towards a 5500 it just depends what I can find. I will be doing a 2023 goals video soon!

Ya it’s been a good unit to me for the price point. It just looked so simple if anything went wrong it would be pretty simple to fix

Of your starting out the yard max is a good option. If you can afford I would get a skid

Does yardmax have good service if it breaks down?
No don’t have a dealer order it online I just do the maintenance and stuff on my own it is very simple machine
