I would stitch on Shiloh. Liked the golden look of it in the video and as a Civil War buff I remember visiting the battlefield. Hope you have a great time at the retreat. I've been to many quilting retreats with friends, but never a stitching retreat, so that is on my to do list.

I feel the same way about Sampler September. The desire to stitch Autumn patterns is overwhelming and competes with my sampler stitching plans. I happened to be on Instagram when you posted your new colors and was lucky enough to purchase one. The more mottled linens intimidate me so I would love to give Shiloh a try. Your videos are a joy! The battle at Shiloh is an interesting part of history, that's for sure!! Grant is one of my favorite American historical figures, so I had to name a linen relating to him. There will probably be another Grant inspired linen name in the future and I am most certainly going to highlight Julia in my first lady series! 😉

Just went to my first retreat ever! Stitch West in Utah. It was a much more budget friendly retreat. Although going to a retreat at Hobby House and with Nicola Parkman would be a dream come true! I will have to live vicariously through others for now. I love the Shiloh fabric and would love some 36 or 40 count to stitch a Sampler on. I will have to keep watch for it to be available on your website!
Your new colors are beautiful so it's hard to choose, but if I can only pick one, it would have to be Hawthorn. I started stitching samplers back in the 1980's but when I started back a couple of years ago, I swore to myself I would only stitch smalls. Of course I couldn't hold myself to that and have several samplers going all the time. Like you, I didn't want to stop stitching samplers for Sampler September, and so I finished BBD's Away We Ride and worked on Halloween Quaker!
Your video was just the right length IMO ! Sampler September, I bought a couple sampler charts and that was my participation. I desperately need to finish something/anything, and not start anything else!!! I like going to retreats, but usually hear about them after the fact. It can be very frustrating. Anyway enjoy yourself, and I agree that Hobby House is wonderful to order from. I would like to try some of your fabric, Hawthorne looked pretty.

I agree with you. Sampler September should be in February. Having it in September interferes with fall stitching. I am going to move Sampler stitching to February next year.

I have a request, if possible....I don't know how to do it, but can you add Closed Captioning to your Floss Tube? Many have it and I don't know how they did it, but it really helps me. Like you, I didn't want to stop stitching samplers for Sampler September, and so I finished BBD's Away We Ride and worked on Halloween Quaker!

I desperately need to finish something/anything, and not start anything else!!! Love your new colors I think Hawthorne would be my first choice! I agree with you about Sampler September. I've stitched mostly on Halloween this month, and felt guilty about ignoring my Samplers! Really for me Sampler September is mostly about shopping for Samplers.:) I am also going to the Hobby House retreat and it is my first needlework retreat as well.:)) See you there!

I like going to retreats, but usually hear about them after the fact. It can be very frustrating. Anyway enjoy yourself, and I agree that Hobby House is wonderful to order from. I would like to try some of your fabric, Hawthorne looked pretty.

Your videos are great to stitch by and never too long!! I like all the new linens and your “old” linens too but My first choice to try is Hawthorne. Enjoy your weekend away at the retreat!!

I am in perfect agreement with you about Sampler September. That is the time for autumn stitching-which is exactly what I did. It was fun to watch what others were doing though.😊

I agree with you. Sampler September should be in February. Having it in September interferes with fall stitching. I am going to move Sampler stitching to February next year.
Enjoyed this floss tube! Excited to see your new fabric colors...all beautiful, but I think Hawthorne might be my favorite! I have a request, if possible....I don't know how to do it, but can you add Closed Captioning to your Floss Tube? Many have it and I don't know how they did it, but it really helps me. I am frequently watching while my husband is sleeping and sometimes I just can't hear. I'm sure others would appreciate it, too! I'm patiently waiting for an order from you as I type this! Enjoy the concert and your retreat (I am jealous of the retreat!).

I love all 3 of your new colors, Fragile is probably my favorite but Hawthorne is a close second.
