This is a beautiful song. I do know that God does exist and lives. I needn't prove what's in my heart, I only have to live life the way God would like me to live. An absolutely beautiful song! So spiritually uplifting! I definitely can't deny that!

In this generation we are privileged to be a part of that great army to welcome the Savior when He returns. A banner was fashioned by our pioneer ancestors as a symbol of the restored Gospel. We are the ones privileged to hold that banner high as an ensign to the world of light and truth!!! Those pioneers are watching us. What a blessing to be born at this time!!! I hope each of us feels this way.

If so, that's too bad--I think there is a lot of wonderful things to celebrate about this religious tradition, as there are many wonderful things to celebrate about other religious traditions as well. This sounds more like a Disney song than a religious song, but either way it's beautiful. Even though I'm not strictly religious (sometimes I get confused and believe in a 'god' but also science) I honesty want to sing this.

But not just beautiful in the aesthetic term, but I mean something that really touches your heart and takes your breath away and makes you grateful for being alive to see it? Then you have profoundly missed the point of this song. Yes God guides us, but He doesn't leave us alone unless we push Him away. That's the point of this song, that regardless of our trials, so long as we hold on to the Savior and our Heavenly Father then we won't be alone. He can offer us comfort, but He can't take our struggles for us. Those are our burden to not only bear, but to grow from, to be strengthened. Once you understand the nature of your burdens you can relinquish them.

If at any point you receive hate from a person that calls themselves Christian, keep in mind that that's their own personal problem, and not a problem that all Christians have.
