I would enjoy seeing some diversity in the pictures. My daughter is from Ethiopia and joined the church by her own choice when we adopted her when she was 11. In our ward, we have women who are Samoan, Native American, Japanese, Korean, and many more. I love music and pictures combined with Heavenly Father's songs, but we shouldn't limit the message to our own inner perception.

My daughter passed away today in my arms she had type 1 diabetes severe Brian damage and prepare for the worse they told me that prepared for several handicap she was at Oakland children hospital for 111 days in the hospital until she got to go home to family and friends she was happy to be home the family lined up the street holding balloons and signed and fireman and politicians lead us home but in February 29th she got sick again it put her in the hospital until she got to go home again in march 6th she passed away in my arms around 4 : 30 am Sunday peaceful afternoon I cried when she passed away in my arms but also her birthday is coming up in June 20th she was born in 2004 it's going to be her 12th birthday in heaven and we are going to send balloons up to heaven so you guys can send balloons up to heaven her favorite color is pink and purple and white balloons her name is Michelle ♡ rest in peace my angel ♡ prey for my daughter

Well, I would have to disagree with the statement that he loves some of us more than others. He loves us all unconditionally and the same because we are his children. The struggles we go through help us learn to grow and rely on him when we need help. when you go through trials, it's not because he's punishing you. He allows us to make our own choices or to have agency. He knows that we're not perfect and we're going to make mistakes. That's what the atonement of Jesus Christ is for.
I don't know you at all, but our Lord does. He knows you by name and he died FOR YOU. I believe that there is no way that someone as perfect as Christ, our Savior would suffer like that if he didn't have an unconditional love for you. And us all. Just remember that he doesn't of you as a rotten daughter. he thinks of you as a Daughter of God. And that's certainly not rotten.

A picture is worth a thousand words, and there's a lot of images here saying ya gotta be thin & pretty...so saying "those are just images" doesn't say much for what the message was intended to say. Funny how you all would complain that images of thin, altered, and attractive young ladies grace the cover of magazines saying: this gives unrealistic expectations to our 'normal' (frumpy, dumpy, fat and not so attractive) young ladies! No worries. =) But if you think about it, God is called the King of Heaven, and we're all children of God according to Judeo-Christian beliefs of any sort. So it makes sense that we're children, spiritually, of a King, yes? And since Judeo-Christianity is very much of the belief that good is in a perpetual war with evil, if we're fighting for good, we are warriors, are we not? It just depends on how you look at things.
I'm only going to address part of this - I grew up in the Bible Belt and learned in like, 4th or 5th grade that Native Americans were descended from Middle-Eastern and Asian peoples. Most average US citizens are also dumbfounded by the basic laws laid down in the Bill of Rights, just because they're uneducated. But I have to say, at least for people who believe in an Almighty God, saying He can't do something just doesn't make sense to me.

I can't really agree because there are tons of songs from the LDS Church about how boys are sons of a Divine King as well. A good example is "We'll Bring the World His Truth." It's just that I focus on videos for girls for the young girls in my ward, to help with their self-esteem.

I grew up in the Mormon church but left because I realized that I was bisexual and I didn’t want to be discriminated against anymore. When I was 13 they didn’t let me go to girls camp because I was bisexual. The bishop once called me in telling me that I would go to hell. I know that there is a Devine power but I do not believe that he would never want a child to be discriminated against by the “true church”.

We do have sacred garments for when you are an adult and have gone through the temple. But the other things the polygamy at the time started doing when it still was happening but now we only practice one spouse marriage, also we don't have secret handshakes, also we take other people besides jews, and we aren't predujudce against anyone.

I was having a horrible week, and I came on youtube and about 4 videos just like this were in my recommended videos column. Obviously for a reason. I am so thankful to be a member of the only true church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Well, I would have to disagree with the statement that he loves some of us more than others. He loves us all unconditionally and the same because we are his children. The struggles we go through help us learn to grow and rely on him when we need help. when you go through trials, it's not because he's punishing you. He allows us to make our own choices or to have agency. He knows that we're not perfect and we're going to make mistakes. That's what the atonement of Jesus Christ is for.
I don't know you at all, but our Lord does. He knows you by name and he died FOR YOU. I believe that there is no way that someone as perfect as Christ, our Savior would suffer like that if he didn't have an unconditional love for you. And us all. Just remember that he doesn't of you as a rotten daughter. he thinks of you as a Daughter of God. And that's certainly not rotten.

Thats what you choose to take from the video. That is not what it says.
A picture is worth a thousand words, and there's a lot of images here saying ya gotta be thin & pretty...so saying "those are just images" doesn't say much for what the message was intended to say. Funny how you all would complain that images of thin, altered, and attractive young ladies grace the cover of magazines saying: this gives unrealistic expectations to our 'normal' (frumpy, dumpy, fat and not so attractive) young ladies! And you can't tell me that's not the truth. You can't have one standard for the world and another for yourself!

Beautiful song, but the title should read: Daughter of The King. Ladies, you're not just daughters of any king, but the King of kings.
no offense taken. I only take offense to cussing and such. No worries. =) But if you think about it, God is called the King of Heaven, and we're all children of God according to Judeo-Christian beliefs of any sort. So it makes sense that we're children, spiritually, of a King, yes? And since Judeo-Christianity is very much of the belief that good is in a perpetual war with evil, if we're fighting for good, we are warriors, are we not? It just depends on how you look at things.
I'm only going to address part of this - I grew up in the Bible Belt and learned in like, 4th or 5th grade that Native Americans were descended from Middle-Eastern and Asian peoples. Most average US citizens are also dumbfounded by the basic laws laid down in the Bill of Rights, just because they're uneducated. But I have to say, at least for people who believe in an Almighty God, saying He can't do something just doesn't make sense to me.

I can't really agree because there are tons of songs from the LDS Church about how boys are sons of a Divine King as well. A good example is "We'll Bring the World His Truth." It's just that I focus on videos for girls for the young girls in my ward, to help with their self-esteem.

I grew up in the Mormon church but left because I realized that I was bisexual and I didn’t want to be discriminated against anymore. When I was 13 they didn’t let me go to girls camp because I was bisexual. The bishop once called me in telling me that I would go to hell.
I know that there is a Devine power but I do not believe that he would never want a child to be discriminated against by the “true church”.

Back to my original point I'm satified from in person experience and seeing TV interviews that LDS believe our aboriginal citizens (aka Native Americans) are Jews who migrated by ship across the Atlantic. Now to non-LDS Americans Jews are Jews and Native Americans (aka Indians) are Native Americans and they couldnt be more different in culture, religion and DNA. Saying they are one and the same comes across (sorry no offense meant) as crazy.
We do have sacred garments for when you are an adult and have gone through the temple. But the other things the polygamy at the time started doing when it still was happening but now we only practice one spouse marriage, also we don't have secret handshakes, also we take other people besides jews, and we aren't predujudce against anyone.
