- The "Litany of the Blessed Virgin Mary" (prayer text below), also known as the Litany of Loreto, was composed in the Middle Ages and approved by Pope Sixtus V in 1587. In 2020, Pope Francis recently added three additional titles ("Mother of mercy", "Mother of hope", and "Solace of migrants"), which are included in this video.
