Storybook medieval town of Gruyeres, Switzerland 🇨🇭
Growing up on fairytales, I always wanted to be a Disney princess. Now I have found a real life storybook town.
We travelled from Geneva to Gruyeres for the day to explore this quaint medieval town, complete with castle, church, and traditional fondue.
Couple that with breathtaking views over the Alps and postcard worthy landscape shots - this just might be the prettiest place I've ever visited.

Come with us on our back to back city break adventure spending 2 days in the city of Geneva, Switzerland We landed late at night as our flight from Copenhagen, Denmark got delayed so we went straight to bed (in our strange apartment) and set off exploring in the morning. Come with us as we spend three days in this vibrant city and subsequently fall in love with it. After a very late flight, we arrived at Copenhagen airport and jumped straight on the train to the city centre. It was great walking to our hostel in the middle of the night as we got a first glimpse of the city while no one was around! We checked into our CityHub pod (I loved this hostel so much) an...

Glasgow - Scotland's largest city and home to a plethora of street art, shopping, and activities My first visit to Glasgow was in 2022 on the way to the Highlands for our annual Scottish road trip. It was a flying visit so we were only there for a few hours. I thought it was about time I went back and explored the city properly, with the added bonus of it being Halloween weekend! We started the...

Isle of Skye during a weather warning for rain and flooding. Plus, extreme wind made for some adventurous walks and epic waterfalls. Starting on the mainland, we visited one of Scotland's most famous and picturesque castles: Eilean Donan. Well known for its appearance The Highlander, this castle is well worth a stop. You can view it from the car park or pay to either walk around the exterior or...
North Coast 500 Scotland road trip: Campervan part two

As the name suggests, the North Coast 500 is roughly 500 miles of winding road that mostly hugs the Coast wi...

Cairngorms National Park: Scotland Road Trip 2024 - Campervan Edition

Every year we do a Scotland road trip - usually in a car with a boot full of stuff and a small tent for wild camping. This year we hired a campervan for the first time, packed our oodies, and hit the road. Our VW transporter was hired from Swamper Adventures and was so comfortable and practical to travel in; we fell in love with it. First stop: Cairngorms National Park. This is our second time ...

*explicit language* Come with us to the UK's newest festival: Bludfest. The festival was a one day event at Milton Keynes National Bowl where everything was designed and created by Yungblud himself. You can tell that a lot of thought and preparation went into this Festival and it really did cater to the fans, was inclusive, and had something for everyone. Aside from the incredible music, there ...

It wouldn't be a British summer without a festival and this year we didn't go to Glastonbury so thought we would try Y NOT Festival. It's a 4 day Festival (if you purchase the Thursday add on) set in the Peak District with a mix of genres but predominantly indie music. 5 stages, and a few bar tents, mean there's always somewhere to listen to great acts and have a good dance. The best way to see the Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Hill | Rome | Italy | September 2023
Thank you! We booked a caravan at Fabulous Village for the end of March-as a home base as we explore Rome!
@@ElenaGreenMom2023 have a great time! And enjoy Rome 🇮🇹
Do you have to get trolls return or can you just get one way? Are they at additional costs?
@callum9880 you can only book a return but you can walk back if you want. You can't walk up and get a trolley car back. You have to book the trolls cars in advance and it's listed as a different trip when booking
Can you get a bus to the top of the sky lift mountain?
The only way to get to the top is the sky lift ☺️
Beautiful sunsets 🌆 sunrise. Did you take your own blanket/throw or ship 🛳️ provide? Asking for the Mrs
@callum9880 the sunsets were amazing! I brought my own blanket and it definitely came in handy in the evenings. I didn't see any on the ship so I'm not sure if you can ask for them
Loved Copenhagen when we visited in Sept last year!
@BerticusdanUK it was a great month to visit and I'll definitely be back 😂
First view of you guys and now subscribed! Loved it! 😊
@@BerticusdanUK thank you for watching and subscribing! 😊
It was nice seeing your dad light up when you guys got into the Colosseum. You can tell it must have been a life long dream to see Rome in person, so glad you guys got there! I’ll be heading in March ❤
@missym877 it was! Seeing it in person was truly incredible. Thank you for watching, have the best time! 😁
If you can recall, what was the traffic like? I hear many say dont do the HOHO because the roads are congested and you’ll waste time sitting in traffic, but looks like that wasn’t an issue for you guys, even though you went in the summer?
We were there the first week in September and the traffic was OK. At one point we stopped for about 10 minutes but I think it was an accident or road works (single lane traffic) which was very hot to sit in! But otherwise fine and we loved getting an overview of the city before seeing it from the ground - it is a different perspective that you don't see otherwise.
Going on Iona to the fjords in April
@@paulwakenell9758 have a great time!
Great video both, thanks for sharing. We're there April next year. 👍
@@22johnwatts thank you for watching! Have a great time 🥰
I like your honesty in the video. Is there a reason why you don't use umbrellas? And is your white hoodie waterproof? Was it cold as well or just wet? Which day did you film?
@pudgenight3071 honestly umbrellas tend to get in the way while I'm trying to hold cameras and maps etc. Also we only had hand luggage for the trip to Denmark and Switzerland so luggage was limited. My coat is a waterproof raincoat and I had a jumper underneath along with waterproof boots! This was filmed on a Thursday and Saturday late September so wasn't too cold and was pretty quiet everywhere (the rain probably kept people inside too). The footage in the park was filmed around 8am which is why it was empty. Thank you for watching 🥰
Hands up who’s watching this having snagged 2025 tickets
Is that the o2?
Great video! Missing Disneyland Paris❤
Thank you! I already want to go back 😂🥰
i uesd to work for ynot and fulled them paint bags ever year what a great thing to have ppl love it 🤟
Amazing! It was such good fun 🎨
you need a wind sock on your mic
@cthymnn2010 I know 😭 I have a small one but it didn't do much with how windy it was here. Thinking of changing camera soon so hopefully that helps 🤞 sorry for the terrible noise!

Part two of our NC500 road trip (part one on the channel). This is the second time we have done this loop so this video highlights some of our favourite stops including spectacular beaches. Enjoy! 🚙⛱️⛰️
Our second time around the NC500 visiting our favourite stops - this time in a campervan! This video is in two parts so make sure you check out part two 🚙🏞
Our first campervan trip! We could have spent a week just in the Cairngorms; there are so many beautiful places with forests, mountains, and lochs. Enjoy the video! 🚙🌳🏞
Just noticed in the video, when you show the skylift going up it’s in reverse as the cars on the road are going backwards and at the end when it’s coming down it’s also in reverse as the people are walking backwards away from the lift 😂😂
@seanrogers8686 good spot! I switched them round because the shot I used first was better 😉 I couldn't get to the front on the way up. Shows you watched the whole video so thank you 😁

You will be absolutely fine on P&O. On Celebration evening everyone does dress up but there are a few areas on the ship that you will be still be allowed in if you don't dress up! I loved our first cruise, definitely worth a try 🛳
We were there it was a great day but how on earth have you managed to stay looking so fresh in a jumoer? It was sooooo hot 😂
@user-pj9vh6qm7l aw amazing! It was so good. It was a thin-ish jumper but oh my goodness I was boiling 😂
Is the thursday worth the extra £50?
@lizziewalker3950 I think it depends if there are acts you want to see on the Thursday. If not there was still lots of space in the campsites and a lot of people arrived first thing in the morning on the Friday.
Nice sharing❤
@@trip_claimer thank you 💗
I think all cruises to the Fjords are ending soon, LNG powered ships or not! Such a shame! Beautiful part of the world! Beautiful ship too!
Oh I thought LNG powered would still be allowed! Glad I got to go if that is the case but such a shame
@@wanderingadventures Latest news is the Norwegian government has delayed the ban until 2032 to allow the cruise ship industry to further develop zero-emission technology. After 2032, ships that aren’t zero-emission compliant won’t be allowed to sail the fjords.

@jessicamosby7918 there are lots of activities going on in the day - quizzes, bingo, live music, sports, shuffleboard, cinema etc. You may have noticed from the videos on our channel that we also don't like to sit still on holiday and we found enough to do 😂 (that being said I'm not sure I could do 2 weeks as we ticked off most things in the 1 week). Fabulous vlog. Great info. We love Norway. We always prefer to book excursions ourselves or do public transport. Saves so much money.
@TravellingLightLisa thank you 😊 I feel like there is a lot of scaring by cruise companies but everything in the ports was very straight forward and organised to book everything yourself! Will be doing that next time too 😊
On our visit to Norway I was hoping to get into the a forest to hunt for Trolls no luck however I swear that I saw the Kraken the giant octopus or was it the bottle of VIP Black Norwegian wine ha lets get saving up xxxx
The island in Plymouth Sound was Drakes Island (Used to be called St Stephens Island at one point) - has been there many many years and acted as a defensive position protecting Plymouth from all manner of attacks from the sea - don't believe you can go there now as they are looking at refurbishing the place and making it safer for public to attend maybe.
@pech38 thank you for the information, I was really intrigued! I'd have to come back and visit the island if it ever did reopen for the public
I like the concrete horses not going anywhere extra lottery ticket this week but in the meantime it as to be Norwegian Wood by the "Beatles" I love it xxx
