HIP HOP is dead as a "trend", and not as a culture. secondly, we are so one dimensional when it comes to beef that we think it's all about trading blows because all we care about is being entertained and we forget about how life threatening beef can be should it get intense. HIP HOP does not need beef in order to stay ahead, everything has it's own season, everything comes to an end eventually. it's all about cycles, what shines today may fade tomorrow. You can't expect HIP HOP to reign supreme forever. There will always be a genre that outshines it, no matter how impactful it is.
