A great fun episode with awesome character interactions, and some quite horrifying lore dumps about Cockatrices o.o
all in all it was quite a petrifyingly good Episode, ;)
On the Final Episode pls look on the episode and don´t look away, i will guess that you could miss some things

This is possibly one one the best episodes of the season, I was laughing so much through it :P
Johnny. Are you forgetting that Maud is obsessed with rocks? Seeing her boyfriend become a rock is just a double love for her. :P
Mudbriar became the one *other* thing Maud loves most. A rock.
Now this was a fun episode. Always glad to see Starlight and Trixie together, and we even got Maud, Mud Briar, Sunburst, and even Terramar in this one. I really think Maud stole this one with her hilarious quotes and her bond with Mud Briar. It's nice to see that Mud himself is improving, now that he's more self-aware of how he comes across.
Poor Starlight, though. She wants to be available for her students all the time, but doesn't leave time for herself or her friends, as poor Trixie can attest to, and she's also left herself open to visits that have nothing to do with her counselor duties. Still, I don't think Silverstream going missing was her fault. Given what Silvy had been coming to her for, how was she supposed to know her last visit would be any different? It was kind of a 'boy who cried wolf' situation there. And at least Silvy acknowledged her mistake there, and in not telling anyone she was going to be late.
Glad Starlight decided to institute office hours by the end, though she really should've done that from the start. Would've saved her a lot of trouble.
Very tense action with all of those cockatrices, too. Good on Silverstream for managing to tame one. Must come with being part-bird herself. =P
Maud in this episode is just Awesome

I like to warn reactors that haven't been warned yet, but be careful about spoilers for the finale episodes. I got spoiled, not fun.
Mudbriar getting turned to stone really rocked Maud's world, eh? :3
Starlight was going back and forth like Terramar, and that was annoying for Trixie. When Trixie arrived to Starlight's office the first time, she should have declared: - The counsellor's office is closed. BEAT IT!
And at 7:25 I'm sure Garble and his friends would do the same with their textbooks and threaten Twilight to burn down the schools library. Why? Because they are not interested in learning. A lot of children feel that way.
I liked this episode. t’s great to see a lot of these characters’ interactions with each other, made things very interesting and fun to watch, especially Maud and Mudbriar (who were very funny in my opinion).

Not sure Maud would appreciate the qualities of wood, should she catch Swamp Fever and started sprouting branches and leaves.
She might appreciate Mudbriar's wood though, if you know what I mean!

In case no one has pointed it out yet, the writers screwed up. They kept calling the occasion being celebrated the "spring solstice", and only corrected it to "spring equinox" in one or two places in the script.
Also, Maud is the same size as Starlight and the mane six. She only appeared to be smaller in this episode because she was always standing next to Mudbriar, a stallion.
