I love my PR1 HiFi, too. I'm 60 years old, and I think that their tuning is almost perfect for my ears, because it can somehow compensate my ~13 kHz and above hearing impair.
I had only an initial worrying issue with fit: even my usual and biggest (14mm) silicon tips cannot seal my ear canals for more than a few seconds. I solved it with memory foams. I have other two IEMs from the same maker (a KZ SZN PRO X and a CCA CRA+) that wear perfectly; but I have to admit that these PR1 are slightly thicker and wider.
Nice one! I also tend to always go for foam tips as they reduce the volume needs and improve bass just that much more. And the fit and sound isolation is always better IMO.
Extension is just how I like it. Instruments like cymbals just sound amazing.

Hey, nice review. Can you consider this kz pr1 hifi an upgrade if your coming from a kz zsn pro and moondrop chu? Planning to buy in the near future.

I use my KZ CRNs daily. Great tuning. Obviously they aren't as technical as my Fearless Freedom S8s at 10x the cost. I have planar headphones that are the best (M570) but not planar iems.
These were a real surprise, but a good one.
Hi! I see you like the same things as i :) so which planar iem would you suggest for around 200$/€ with a similar sound signature? (I have the kz pr1 hifi) Much appriciated :)
Im consider buying this because of you, but i have a problem i don't have Headphones jack, im using type c earphones, Now what Brand you suggest to buy 3.5 mm to Type c dongle ??
I would actually recommend the FiiO KA1 DAC Amp if you can spring for it. USB-C connection and 3.5mm connection.
But just an adaptor - I wouldn’t worry to much at this price and cable quality.

I'm using KZ AZ09 Pro Bluetooth earhooks with a variety of IEM's. One modded set for B-pin and one factory C-pin set. IEM's include the S12, Olina, T3+, HZ HM, Lea, TKZK Wave, and Blon BL-03. Aliexpress has these AZ09 Pro's, or the sports version from CCA called the CCA BTX, for around $30~$35 during the 11.11 sale period. Love using these BT 5.2 earhooks with my S12's in Power Mode (about 5.5 hours per charge).
KZ AZ09 Pro Bluetooth ear hooks are awesome.
KZ pr1 hifi and CCA pla13 are same or diffrent ??
Don’t have the CCA to compare at this time. CCA CXS coming though.
What's the difference between hifi version and the other one?
The balanced version has a slightly higher tuning on the bottom end.

No, sorry. But as I really liked these, I’ll stick with them.
I think this Planar IEM is a good product. I will spend less money to enjoy richer music detail!
