Based on all the DankPods I've watched I was stuck between the KZ KZN Pro X's and the KBear KS1's. I ultimately ordered the KBear's based on their sound profile compared to a pair of B&O's that I loved a few years ago, but it was close. I can't say I'm happy with my purchase yet because they are arriving tomorrow. This was a pretty timely video lol. Planars would be interesting though, might check these out at some point. I had no idea they sold planars for this cheap, that's pretty exciting.

IEM’s are very addictive..for the cost of a single mid tier headphone ..you can build a very nice IEM’s stable ..that each bring something to the party 🎉
2022 was the year of the planar ..what wonders will 2023 bring.
As for planars in my stable..the WU and the S12’s ..with the Dioko with its distracting flat midds though I own them ..they’re not in my rotation of IEM’s that I use.

I very much agree that this new product can be produced, and the sound quality is very balanced, which sounds as good as those of high-end brands.

I agree. For the money you can't beat them. Also the base model PR1 Balanced is awesome if you're into rock, electronic and rap music.

@@kennethlourisombrog2149 I have both and metal sounds great on both but some extreme styles like black and industrial metal sound better on the PR1 Balance cause it's higher highs
To these wonderful IEMs, you need to select everything that is mid-range - a mid-range cable, a source with a fat middle, the same amplification. Then it's the BOMB !
I would be surprised if the directional hearing was bad. I use my kz 10 pros for gaming and I've been able to save my team by hearing quiet footsteps
I just ordered the KZ Symphony: planar driver plus DD for more bass. Can’t wait for my first listen to this new driver tech.
Too sparkly for my first experience too. But strangely , it sounds so good after a short period of use.

Hello, I'm hesitating between these and the KZ PR1 non pro any help on my choice, price doesn't bother me on both as it's quite reasonable my possible choice is sound based. I'm just inexperienced and currently plan to just set them on my phone and pc jack, and if I need something else to make them perform at their best instead of just plug it in my pc or phone.1:30 i don't understand what these curves really means and if it's much better or just slightly better. Sorry for my english and spelling errors.
Hello Ryan 🙏🏻, I bought PR1 pro on sale 31 USD but when I listened to it I found the right piece volume is very low and everytime I put right piece in my ear it makes wierd plastic wrapping noise. I think there must be channel imbalance issue. What do you think please help me what to do?❤️✌🏻

Woud you suggest kz pr1 pro over likes of Moondrop Aria or Olina se. Though i know those are dynamic driver and these kz are planner but price point is similar for these iem and i wanted to compare kz pr1 pro with timess but i don't know is it justified due to huge price gap?
I’ve not tried either the Atia or Olina, so I can’t say. The PR1 Pro are almost definitely going to be more aggressive in the high frequencies due to tuning, however.
@@theryanthomas I am currently using kz zs10 pro currently so don"t know how aggresive kz pr1 pro will be if you compare pr1 pro with other planners which you have heard, how you will rate them?
@@mahfoojkhan5707 oh cool! I love the ZS10 Pros. The ZS10 Pros sound more chill. Way less aggressive. Though the PR1 Pros are way more detailed, and have more bass and sub-bass, and far more aggressive in the high frequencies. A different sound for sure
If you want to have a v shape very fun and aggressive tuning choose PR1 Pro. Olina SE and Aria is more of a balanced fun or harmann. Not gonna be as exciting as PR1 Pro but sounds more natural sounding. Between those two if you have the money then Olina SE, it has less bass bleed and a much better resolution and technical performance compared to Aria. Aria is still pretty decent although if you want Aria tuning, you might want to save money and wait for Truthear Hola that almost have the exact same graph with Aria at only $20.
I have both the PR1 and the Aria. Both are very enjoyable. Aria is a bit more restrained in the highs. If I had to get rid of one, I couldn't probably choose. I can easily listen a whole evening to the KZ and another night to the Moondrop.

Hey, I just got my hands on the KZ PR1 PRO. I literally just took them out their box and for some reason they sound like shit. My sound drivers are up to date and all the volumes are maxed. IDK what is going on and I'm pissed tbh just paid 100$ for them😂. Can anyone help?
Planers need amplification to get the best from them, Sound drivers up to date for what ?

Have you ever tried planar earbuds? If not, I suggest you buy the PR1 PRO to try them out. The PR1 PRO has very clear resolution and deep low frequency extension. PR1 PRO is my favorite product right now😄

How about midrange, I like the warm midrange
If you are looking for a marshmallow/like midrange with intimate vocals - then this is not about these headphones. Here it is noticeably cushioned (without any coloration) and relegated to the background compared to bass and treble.
