Ho Alahia Episode 8 ACA Northern Tier Route Across the U.S.

Excerpt from Travel Journal:
6 July, 2024 Day 14
Zero miles today, 717 Miles for the trip.
West Glacier, MT - Agpar Campground
Took a day off to rest and explore Glacier Park a bit.
Rode the bike around unloaded to get around, I felt like I was flying.
Took the Going to the Sun Road up to Logan pass and it was really beautiful.
Decided to take the Marias alternate route tomorrow instead of Logan pass. Since I can’t get into Canada without my documents, it’s probably the best to skip St. Mary and the Canadian section. Taking Logan pass to St. Mary and trying to get down to East Glacier from there is full to too many unknowns for such a long ride.
Met two boys that are hiking around the Park. They took the train into the park and hiked to the camp ground. Thought that would be a great way for Gregory and I to visit.
Had a lot of food and ice cream to get caught up. Body is happy to have a day off.
A bear ran though the campground tonight with rangers in hot pursuit. He must have been the problem bear they warned us about when we checked in.
Back on the road tomorrow.
7 July, 2024 Day 15
60 Miles Today, 777 Miles for the trip.
West Glacier, MT to East Glacier, MT
Rode the Marias alternate route to East Glacier.
The ride was scenic and enjoyable. I’m glad I got to see both summits in the park.
Crossed the continental divide at Marias pass. Was a nice coast into East Glacier for some ice cream and diet 7up.
Met three girls that were entering the park on the Northern Tier. Was glad that I was able to give some advice on the route.
Checked in to my first Hostel. It was pretty expensive, but was cheaper than anything else around.
Had a nice dinner at a cafe and bought a brownie for later.
Got everything charging for tomorrow’s ride to Cut Bank.
It’s nice hanging out in the common room with the rest of the travelers.
Caught up with Gregory and Dad. It’s been a while. Cell service is really bad in the park.
Onward.
